Hotel Topeka at City Center

The staff was really nice and helpful.

The shower head was leaking in our room and the breakfast was ok, the fruit was soiled and the cream cheese for our bagels was also sour

Everything was fine, except the coffee maker in the room was inoperative and no free coffee in the lobby.

Ac did not work in room

The location of the hotel was great! I liked that the hotel was located in the conference center I was working from and I could just walk. The room was spacious and the common area was well maintained.

I did not like that the rooms were outdated and a lamp in my room did not work. The bathroom and shower curtain were kind of gross. The couch in the room looks like it had been worn out and has been there for 50+ years.!

Everything was very good.

Hotel shows its age. Our shower had rust around faucet. Did not support usb charging. No clock and couldnt find a do not dosturn sign. Staff was friendly but not overly accommodating. Bartender needed an assistant. He was working hard with a large party. Overall average stay but nothing to brag about.

This property is in terrible shape and needs updating. Carpet in the halls is repaired with strips of tape, carpets are dirty, bathtub had stains, air conditioner in room didn't work. On a scale of 1-5 this hotel rates as about a 2 star hotel.

Reasonable price, good accomodations, decent breakfast. Topeka is boring but that's not the hotels fault.
