Super 8 by Wyndham Macomb

Stayed at the Super 8 in Macomb and had a great experience. Drew at the front desk was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly great, and the prices were very affordable. Definitely a solid option if you’re staying in Macomb and want a clean, comfortable place without spending a ton.

Bed was ok. Place was fairly clean other than the smell.

Room smelled, shower was pretty weak, flooring down the hall and into the room was a disaster...glue down vinyl plank that was not fully glued down

People on the 2nd floor woke me up at midnight with their loud talking and screaming and slamming doors and knocking on doors. This continued until after 1AM. At 5:30 AM 2 guys were beating and pounding on the room across from me and this continued until I guess the person finally woke up. I opened my door and told them they had woke everyone up except the person they wanted. They didn’t apologize or anything they just said they had to wake him up.

Everything was updated and nice. Staff was great and it conveniently next to the college campus.

The shower head was too short and the toilet leaked a little

Tv didn’t work, mattresses blocking half of the hallway on the second floor -a hazard if there were a fire-, Someone just came in my room the first night without knocking or trying to make contact.

Wavy floor, floor glue on floor, paint all over floor, floor seperated and lifted, paint tape on wall. Gave me a laundry basket to put my stuff in room and I'm disabled. HUGE stain on matress. Poor lighting. Rust on bathroom ceiling. I only went here because I had just gotten Wyndham rewards the n8ght before and the room was $63 and this room was $89. I almost left before unpacking. The man that checked me in told me to park at other end of building because it will be closer to my room and it wasn't and he pushed the laundry cart there and after I parked there and saw there was an incline all the way to the door and too difficult for me because he had me move out of the handicap parking, I still had to get the laundry basket from that end of the building for my luggage. I took pictures. Oh and the coffee pot did not warm the water it leaked it out all over so no coffee either. When I asked him about my AARP discount he said I used booking.com. I told him I went to the hotels website and it had me make a reservation and it said no money will be taken from me until I arrive. When I arrived he didn't take my AARP card and I asked him about my rewards and he didn't answer, he was moving contractor stuff around his feet, lots of it.
