It was dirty the floor was sticky and the whole room smelled of mold. The bathroom was dirty with flies and I was charged for a room when I didn’t even stay there.

Front desk staff were not accommodating . They said early checkin not available and it was only 30 degrees outside and snowing . Had to be back at work for five and earliest check in would be 3pm although parking lot was empty. I booked as a pay when u arrive and check in . I never checked in and was assured my card wouldn’t be charged . I was charged

My daughter and I stayed overnight at this hotel as we were passing through the Champaign area. Made reservations multiple weeks in advance and had done the precheck-in process the day before, but we still had some issues upon arrival. Took staff a while to locate our reservation, and none of the precheck details were found. When I inquired about the trouble, I was given attitude about them not always receiving the information. Physical building was moderately clean but could use some maintenance and refurbishing. Our room was similarly clean but in need of updating. Beds were fairly comfortable, but the bedding had an odd odor. Appliances (i.e., TV, refrigerator, etc.) were in working order. Breakfast options were minimal and disappointing. Not necessarily an issue with the hotel itself, but we also had issues with someone’s kid calling our room over the course of the evening. Reported the incident to the front desk, who didn’t seem concerned about it.

If you are a smoker this is the place for you. You will find convenient ashtrays in your room and the carpeting, plus bedding will be pre-burned, so no need to worry about dropping a cigarette while you sleep. Others have done it before you. However, if you are not a smoker others will think you are since you will immediately smell as if you have had a lifetime habit.
