Its 2025 and people are walking around indoors smoking cigarettes. Please smells like an ashtray. Couldn't sleep because my allergies were acting up from all the smoke

I was told there were NO 1st floor rooms then I said I had a service dog & was asked for a "card" as proof (that's illegal) THEN SUDDENLY you have a 1st floor room & charged me an additional $120 that I'm going to have to wait days to get back but you took my payment immediately The phone didn't work AT ALL...couldn't EVEN call front desk...vending machine is broken so I had to buy warm soda from a carton sitting on the floor The key didn't work on the back door so had to walk around building to get back in...no coffee machine in the room but coffee cups are there Couldn't sleep because of suspicious activity going on all around our vehicle last night We travel all over the US & this was VERY disheartening

Check-in online was great. But arrived and had to go through it all over again with a language barrier was stressful

I had high hopes that this property would be an affordable and convenient option for my weekly trips to Champaign, but unfortunately my experience was far from pleasant. While the bed itself was reasonably comfortable, the main issue was the air conditioning unit. When it was running, it blew air that smelled strongly of mold and mildew, which made the room feel unhealthy and uncomfortable. Because I checked in very late, I wasn’t in a position to request a room change, but the odor made it impossible to get any real rest. On top of that, the neighbors — who seemed to have at least two if not three rooms — were partying late into the night. Multiple pizza deliveries showed up, with drivers struggling to locate the right rooms, adding to the noise and disruption. Between the poor air quality and the lack of quiet, I finally gave up and left at 5 a.m. after a very restless night. It’s disappointing, because I was hoping this hotel could serve as a regular stop during my weekly travel. Based on this experience, however, I’ll need to look for other options in Champaign.

Charged more than my reservation and couldn’t understand the staff horrible English. Rooms were clean and decent beds

I checked in and was assigned a room. Upon opening the door to my room I immediately was hit with a very strong urine smell. I honestly couldn’t tell if it was human or animal. I pulled back the sheets on one of the mattresses to find it heavily stained and covered in hair. I went to the ac unit to get some air moving in the room. The more I walked on the carpet I realized my shoes were sticking to it and I was being bitten by fleas. The carpet was very soiled. The tub was rusted out and the faucet was leaking. I immediately departed the room and went back to the front desk. I told the young lady what was wrong with the room and asked for another room. She acted like I insulted her and said the only other room was being cleaned. I told her I was going to run errands and to notify me when the room was ready. The hotel was not responding to my messages later and they never reached out to notify me of the other room so I booked and stayed elsewhere. They still have yet to respond to me and they better refund my deposit and not charge me for a stay. Stay away from this “hotel” it is filthy and poorly ran. I will be reporting them to the city and the BBB.
