Nice family ran motel but in need of many updates and some better cleaning. No breakfast just coffee but very nice owners

Upon arrival to the property on the evening of Thursday 02/08/2024 it was obvious that the Cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities have been neglected if not abandoned completely. We checked in and were told we had to pay a 50$ deposit and it would be returned in The morning when we checked out. After going to the room and going to sleep I woke up at around 5 AM and went outside to smoke and making sure I didn’t smoke in the room and lose the deposit. While I was outside smoking I saw the front desk worker who we spoke to later on that morning to check out. We had to be at our job site at 9 am so we went to the front desk to checkout after we cleaned up the room after ourselves and I took the trash that had accumulated and tied it up and Brought it with us to throw away when we got outside. After giving the desk worker our key card to the room she told us to give her just a minute and she would check the room. After just three minutes a different, older lady appeared from the back employee area. She informed us that we had smoked in room and that she wasn’t going to give us our 50$ deposit back. When we told her that we had not smoked in the room, Her response was that she found Ashes on the floor. She then stated that “The county will not allow them to to return deposits when someone smokes in the room. She was very rude and unpleasant. I’m not going to tell anyone how unprofessional and unacceptable there behavior is. This is an obvious pattern on the businesses reviews.

Older property but nice room for the price.

Internet did not work, we cancelled and booked somewhere else.

Friendly staff. Good room. Good breakfast -- a bagged breakfast but had everything I needed, muffin, fruit, yogurt, water, cereal bar.

Deposit wasn’t mentioned til after I paid for room. Can take up to a week for it to be refunded. Ac unit was busted up in room with it dripping condensation on cords under it. No vending machines and I was told they don’t serve breakfast at the moment when I mentioned breakfast at check in. We chose this hotel because breakfast was mentioned online.

Nice place ,for an older building. Clean and comfortable, and inexpensive. Good location .

Place is pretty dirty, starting with the checkin, filthy windows and doors when entering, hoarder looking behind the checkin counter, room condition as well. It's one of those places where you don't want to touch anything.

Smells of mildew and just smells. No smoking but you can smell smoke, especially of the weed variety. Advertized breakfast but there was no breakfast on any of the days we were there. Beds are hard as a rock. We did get fresh towels faily though, well i hope they were fresh. I took a picture of the breakfast counter with nothing on it but this review is not letting me post it.
