Noah's Forest by Tifakara

Myself, my best friend and both our partners stayed at Noah's forest by tifakara for 9 days, from august 1 - august 9. We debated staying in one place for such a long duration but it quickly became home and an incredible stay. Alan and Anna were tremendously accommodating, even going so far as to help us arrange excursions and schedule rentals before we even arrived! They also went out of their way to accommodate us by putting us in two bungalows next to eachother. The bungalows are very roomy and the beds super comfortable. Throughout the stay the staff were friendly, hospitable, welcoming, everything you could ask for! The grounds are conducive to great animal watching. We spotted sloths, Tucans, hummingbirds, butterflies, to name a few. And we really utilized the pool and hotubs on cooler nights. Definitely rent a car or be prepared to uber or taxi as town is a father walk than it looks. The restaurant is very good with lots of diversity among the dishes including vegetarian options. The host, Arlen was extremely gracious and remembered everyone's names, he really made us feel at home. All in all this was a perfect location with all of our needs met. We wish to come again soon! We had a wonderful time at Noah’s Forest by Tifakara. Tucked away on the edge of town, we arrived at the hotel and were warmly greeted by hotel staff with an afternoon cocktail drink and a warm towelette. The hotel sits on an ecological oasis with a mountain stream cutting through the property. There is a sloth trail near the entrance with a beautiful overlook of the river and nearby frog pond. The rooms themselves are newly built detached bungalows for maximum privacy. Our room also had an outdoor jacuzzi tub and patio area. The rooms were clean and sleekly finished with a comfortable king size bed and large bathroom with a dual rainfall shower. There is a daily complimentary breakfast which we took full advantage of and a nice-sized pool. I came with my seven year old daughter and we had a great time. We took the must-see complimentary night walking tour offered by the sister hotel and it was amazing. Despite the heavy downpour that evening, we had a blast and saw even more animals than usual including several different frogs including the cute but poisonous blue jeans frog. I want especially thank Allan, Christian, and Reynaldo who showed amazing hospitality and truly our stay special.

My wife and I got to go here for our honeymoon! It is by far the best stay we have ever had anywhere. The service was absolutely amazing from especially Christian, Erick, and Chi-Chi. They always were attentive and always wishing us a happy honeymoon. The room was amazing and the food was amazing too. Our favorite part though was led by Allan. He led the sloth trail and night trail for us and we got to learn so many new things. My wife and I definitely left with a new friend! Would definitely recommend this place!! God bless🙏

Where do I even start!? The staff, hands down, make this place a gem. Lucy greeted us and welcomed us with a warm smile and very kind demeanor. Arlen delivered room service in the pouring rain on our first night after a super long travel day. They are expanding and improving the property so there was a little construction and temporary fixes in place while the property was being improved and it didn’t bother us one bit. The location is phenomenal, easy access to everything. The grounds are immaculately kept. Plenty of places to lounge around. It’s also very private and romantic. I have not one bad thing to say about Noah’s Forest. With so many places to stay, I’m glad we chose to stay here and would stay there again on future visits. Lucy, Arlen, ChiChi, Eric, Kevin and the rest of the team go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Thank you for making this trip unforgettable! Pura Vida!!

We planned only 1 night stop-over at Noah’s Forest but ended up returning for another 3 nights in the same holiday. We arrived at Noah’s and had a great reception by Reynaldo. He offered us coffee, told us how the hotel worked and showed us our rooms. During the complete stay we had great assistance from the staff in helping to organise trips; the staff places binoculars around the the hotel to help you to see the sloths in the trees around the hotel. The rooms are great; spacious showers, comfortable airco and a private jacuzzi. Hummingbirds all around you when you sit outside.

We loved our stay at Noah’s Forest. The property is beautiful. The food and employees at the restaurant were great and they had the most amazing orange ginger ice cream. We sat outside on our patio and listened to the noise of the forest every morning and every evening. The entire staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They helped us with everywhere we wanted to go. We would highly recommend Noah’s Forest and we will definitely be staying there next year when we go back to the Arenal area.

We stayed here for one week from our honeymoon. The accommodation is amazing - very intimate, jungle-ish and luxurious. The service is exceptional - the staff is very prompt and happy to help with any need, and proatively and carefully preparing all details to ensure you are having the best and sweetest time there (e.g we had different animal forms made out of towels on our bed everyday). The food at the restaurant is very good - better than any restaurant we tried in the La fortuna city. The location is good, very quiet but pretty close to the city - 3 min with the car. Often you can see small animals and gorgeous birds around the property. The place is perfect to relax and detach. Thank you! to all the staff that made our stay amazing!

This place is really sweet to stay at it’s about 5-10 minute drive from the center of La Fortuna you can definitely walk as well. It’s very convenient and the staff is so wonderful they will make anything happen for you so it’s just nice to feel welcomed and acknowledged. The surrounding area is quiet although it’s close to the center where’s there a lot of people you stay in an area that’s really quiet. The rooms themselves are beautiful as well. And very well kept this hotel does great upkeep on their property
