Super 8 by Wyndham Portage

The staff is extremely efficient and very friendly. Room clean. Basic amenities. Good for overnight trip.

Spider webs in the corners of the bathroom. The toilet seat lid was not there as it looked to be broke off. Sink drain was very slow. Desk chair was broken and not safe. The front desk replaced it quickly. The carpet in the room was not vacuumed properly. There was a candy wrapper under the desk. Around the bed against the metal platform dirty and it appeared to have not been vacuumed in quite a while. Old wall anchors where something was attached to the wall were just painted over. The thermostat was removed from the wall and what looked like the mounting plate was still on the wall. The cracks in the parking lot had weeds growing out of them. The staff was GREAT, the snacks are sold at very low prices. Half of the letter y is missing on the lobby sign above the front door. The right side entrance has bricks missing and the screen on the window needs repair. The location was great.

We never stayed here. On line booked us a room that you didnt have and ut was canceled. I was charged teice and only was refunded once. I am fighting this thru my bank. Dont know who to call to talk to who booked it.

The hotel was gross. It had not been swept. There was hair in the inside of the shower curtain. They do not clean the room, replace the towels while you are out. We had to go to the front desk the second day to get fresh towels. The lamps did not work in the room so you had no lighting. Which was also a problem to charge your phone since that was the plug in. There were holes you could feel in the floor. And there were stain on the sheets. NEVER AGAIN!

There is no microwave in the room, needing us to go in the dining area near the receptionist to heat our food. Its just inconvenient if you have food prepared but either way the stay was good

Breakfast was good

The manager was a lady and she was not a very nice friendly person. My husband and I have kids and took our kids with us paid good money to stay there and she treated us like shit and our kids. She is not kid friendly at all. I will not be telling my friends or family with kids to stay there. She accused my son who is 7 of doing a gang sign to the cameras. First off he is 7 and has no idea what a gang is 2nd off he was doing a peace sign cause he thought it was cool to be on t.v. in his little mind. I would really recommend getting a different manager then the lady you have now.i was talking with other guest there and they all had issues with her too.

When we got there after driving 10hrs the hotel lobby smelt like alcohol and then going upstairs to check into our room.. the hotel stairway smelt like dog and cat urine. Got to our room and smelt so bad of mold!! Not happy

Staff was very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and in good condition.

The person at the hotel that day was very friendly and helpful. Went out of his way to get breakfast ready early when mentioned I had an early start.

The building and rooms seemed a little rundown, but the rooms were clean.
