Super 8 by Wyndham Portland ME

Being honest, booked this hotel as I seen there was a pool and hot tub, was pretty excited for that, i arrive and get told there is none here. So that was a bummer, our room was pretty clean, compared to other reviews and pics i seen on here. Our room was quite and had a good night sleep, it will do as we just needed a night to stay

Upon arrival found a pubic hair in my bed. One of our clean towels was dirty. 50% of the bathroom lights didn't work. We were disappointed.

Room just ok. Worn out furniture. Rug very worn out n stained.

The room temperature was comfortable. Our main gripe was that our room was not cleaned from Saturday to our departure on Thursday.

Staff was friendly, parking lot had unavoidable pot holes. Too many smokers were parked just outside of the entry doors so we had to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter or exit the hotel

there was a lot of people on the property that did not belong

Not safe. Smelled horrible, roof not clean, door doesn’t lock, parking lot has dangerous craters and is tough to navigate. We checked in, walked in, and walked out, and cancelled our reservation. The attendant understood and said “I don’t blame you” It was rough. 😬

I am trying to cancel the Expedia trip because I hadn’t been able to check into my room for over an hour and I had enough and went to another hotel. Talking to your agent I spent a half hour per person with no rectification. It took you guys two minutes to take my money But over 60 minutes with your people I got no wear with.
