Super 8 by Wyndham Thurmont

Trying to find this place was horrible. There were no lights. Finally my son saw the sign. I thought there was a power outage. No lights outside or in the sign. We drove by it 4 times. Complete darkness maybe a few window lights on. Checking in the staff was nice it just took them forever to get to the check in desk and it was only around 8:30. Going to the room the door wouldn’t open. The hotel staff couldn’t get it open. They finally changed our room. The beds were as old as me. I felt springs. The shower had water standing in the tub during my shower. Then you can’t even sleep in. They are texting you at 8am trying to find out when you are checking out. It was a joke!!!

Price was good considering it was an extremely last minute stay that was needed

Free breakfast was a joke - frosted flakes or raisin bran, milk. Apple juice, reg coffee.

Property was gross and no staff on site.

Price was affordable.

Had issues checking in, no staff, kicked out early after having agreement for late check out. Front desk stole our phone. DO not stay here!

Nothing mold on the lamp shades in the hall ways everywhere minimal breakfast scary man holding the building up literally outside smoking constantly. The 1 good thing was my check in process with Ashley very friendly and went above and beyond for my wife and I.

Everything totally bad experience.

The room area with the bed was fine. Just very out dated. The bathroom was very gross. Dirt my the hand bar, build up on the shower head and handle. We were there 2 nights and I refused to shower there. Toilet was dirty with black scum up high. Mirror had warn black spots. Tissue box look like it had never been wiped off. Dirty walls. Air was off when we go to the room so was very hot and uncomfortable. No one at the front desk when we went to check it. Had to call a number. Lady who came looked like she just rolled out of bed. Check out there was also no one present. Checked out online but not sure I even did it correctly. I don't think the back door locked like it said it did. Was advertised free breakfast and there wasn't. But honestly with how poor everything else was I don't even think I would have eaten there.
