Red Roof Inn Lexington, NC

7-17-2013. I booked 2 nights at the Super 8 motel in Lexington N.C. The first night we checked in was about 10 :30. The air conditioner was not working and it was hot. The blanket under the bed spread had a 7 inch hole in it like it was a about 20 years old. Room fair. But about a half hour there the big picture over the bed fell off the wall hitting my wife on the head ,shoulder and arm leaving a big blue bruise on her. We showed it to the clerk the next morning and canceled the second night. My wife was operated on the next morning at the Lexington N.C. hospital by Mark Smith. Operate on her throat and for a hernia. They also exrayed her shoulder because she kept complainting about her head ,arm and shoulder hurting. Today makes about 2 weeks and she is still complainting her shoulder hurting her. If she had been laying down this could have put her eye out or killed her. The clerk was real nice, and said she was from Galax VA. I don't usually make a complaint, but as you read this I think you would to. The motel needs to remove these pictures before something terrible happens. Don Beverly. We also made pictures od the picture that fell, the worn out blanket and the air conditioner and her arm bruise. Also the phone was nasty.

My wife and I stayed at this motel last night on my way to Washington, DC. I would recommend it to anyone passing through Lexington. To start the staff was very accommodating and friendly and even offered to help with my luggage. The rates were also incredible for the room I received. I had a nice, plush, comfortable, and clean 1 bedroom King size bed. The amenities in the room were also nice and soothing. Check out in the morning was very quick, friendly, and prompt - and I even received a complimentary breakfast! I would recommend this motel to anyone who is stopping over in Lexington.
