Everything was perfect

Room decor was freshman dorm room. Microwave did not work. Dorm size refrigerator years old. Good flat screen TV but no channel guide. No coffee service. All outdoor vending machines non functional.

Floor was freezing cold and a little gritty. Heat needs work. Was a lil disappointed there was no coffee in room or up front.Seems alot of things there are out of order(no coffee,no snacks,no ice)also no continental breakfast(as advertised). I feel that as Red Roofs go,this is sub standard to what Im accustomed to from them

I have used RRI for the past 8 years at least once a month as I show dogs around the country. While many have been lovely the above RRI was not. I had travelled 6 hours on my own, arrived when it was dark and was told I could only have one dog, even though it says pets welcome. I had 2 that weighed 35 lbs total and even though I said I would leave them in their crate for the night , I was refused entry and told to find another hotel. If they are going o make that policy they should state online that it is ONE dog only. I will never stay at RRI again and I will glady pay the $10 per dog fee at Days Inn which btw was across the road and offered a hot breakfast.

It was s decent for the money

Too much going on here for my taste. Rooms are nice enough but definitely on the small side. I understand that smoking is permitted at this hotel but I assumed that those rooms would be grouped together . Nope. I’m laying here in bed at 1:10 AM as I type with burning eyes and unable to sleep because the smoke smell is ridiculous (obviously I’m NOT a smoker and personally I think someone is smoking something other than cigarettes ).Also someone is honking their horn as well for a guest to come out. Really?? Meanwhile I’m on a different floor from the other half of the family. Also we were given 3 pillows. 3 ?? It’s me and my husband. My family who were in the double bed room each had 2 pillows. Needless to say, I’ve been hitting my head on the headboard more than I care to. Overall it’s an ok spot but I think I may just stick to my usual going forward, even if doing so cost more. To me the experience is more important than cost and this is definitely not one of the best.

We stopped because I read the dates of the reviews. The reviews for the OLD motel are still attached to this one. Red Roof is NOT Hwy8 Motel. New people, clean rooms and friendly staff. It wasn’t expensive and the check in-out was fairly simple and easy. I needed extra pillows and the gentleman got them as quickly as possible and was very friendly. I highly recommend staying here (not long term, as cooking isn’t allowed). Pets ARE allowed.

I read the reviews after booking and was concerned. Even tried to change venues but nothing else was available, due to and big furniture event. Glad I didn't. The exterior is a bit deceiving. When entering the room, it was clearly evident it had been transformed. Everything is new to include the bath/vanity area and super clean. I highly recommend, especially for those with pets like myself.
