Out West Motel

If you’re looking for an inexpensive place for an overnight this is a great choice.

The room smelled very moldy when we arrived. Opened all the windows and it helped but, did not get rid of the smell completely. People smoking right outside their room stunk. Make them go across the parking lot, next to the street.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price could have been a little lower for what you get and carpet needs cleaned or replaced

This is a value property but not for luxury or elegance. The staff were great! The property clean. The furnishings were dated and worn which I’d the trade off for low cost.

The staff was polite and friendly. The room was very quiet for being so close to the highway.

Had to wait for our room to be cleaned even though we arrived at 10pm. Previous guest spilled alcohol at the door. We ended up going somewhere else thanks to the locals at the nearest bar telling us about the weekly drug raids. Motel guest are either permanent or Hourly! Only good thing was lady at the desk was nice!

We stayed in room 25 and the smell of cigarette smoke was so terrible we had to leave the windows open. We only stayed one night and the next day our clothing smelt like smoke.

People were very nice. Room was clean.

Was given wrong room to start, then our new room was locked from inside , had to go back to office second time in 10 min. Door would not completely lock. Deadbolt would not engage. Tv speaker was blown, there were 2 towels, 1 hand towel, no wash cloths, half roll toilet paper, 1 soap, headboard very loose, bath water handle gives only cold or very hot shower. Water mixer doesnt work and could scald someone, no phone, no internet as advertised, no ice machine. The code given for wifi did not exist. A strange car parked in our space for 2 days, never seen anyone. We parked in the space next door. We stayed 2 nights. We will never go back and would never recommend. Loved the grassy area in front of the room. Best part of our stay sitting in the grass and listening to the cars , birds, dogs, etc. I worked at a motel for 3 years and i can say with confidence that there needs to be some updates really bad. Stains in the dresser drawers and on carpet as well.
