Super 8 by Wyndham Tappahannock VA

The only complaint I have is cleanliness. The bathroom toilet was dirty. Good thing I had disinfectant wipes & spray. It was overall dusty everywhere.

My family and I left within the hour after checking in because of roaches crawling on the walls

We had roaches in our room! I immediately packed my bags and went to the front desk and they didnt want to refund us. Horrible service! Horrible experience!!

It was nice and clean! Only thing could only watch a couple channels on the tv but really wasn’t watching it anyways

Located next to a 24 hr. convenience store, so it's very noisy. The outside doors were supposed to be accessible with room key only but were open to anyone passing by.The sheets in our room appeared to be dirty, when we asked for a full service cleaning the front desk was less than accommodating. I had the feeling these type of complaints were routine! However, the room was cleaned and sheets changed, I just had to nag. I realize that at this price point only the basics are provided but guests shouldn't have to negotiate for basic hygiene.

The property is located next to a 24 hour convenience store , the parking lot is filled with litter, the garbage cans are overflowing, the rooms aren't clean, the carpet smells and we suspect that the sheets weren't properly laundered. I didn't get much help from the front desk so I approached housekeeping directly. The price is certainly reasonable but the noise, litter and lack of security on top of the poor housekeeping make this a bad choice.

UPDATE YOUR CLEANLINESS AND UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE TO DISCLOSE NO LONGER ACCEPTING PETS AND IF THEY ARE SERVICE ANIMAL YOU NEED PROOF....WHICH IS ILLEGAL TO ASK BY THE WAY. DO YOU ASK EVERY HANDICAP/DISABLED PERSON WHY THEY ARE DISABLED!?

Our stay was adequate and exactly what we wanted and needed.

Convenient to Walmart and Sheetz and fast food restaurants.
