Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-55

The people

Rooms and facility were clean. Beds (we had 2 queen beds) were comfortable. What we really liked were the two rooms - a room for sleeping (a bedroom) and a room for sitting, relaxing, reading, watching TV, etc. (a sitting room).

Although the rooms were nice and clean, they were quite dated and could use some refreshing and updating.

There was a half eaten bag of chips left on the floor by the main TV and a few raisins on the floor where the two queen beds were

We bring our family here every time we come to Springfield. It's clean and safe the staff are friendly. And the breakfast is very good.

It’s was a great place to be my kids had fun

It was so clean

1. The hairdryer should have been replaced since the low function doesn't work and the high function sparks before working. 2. The breakfast was questionable, especially having no cereal. 3. The easy chair and the toilet were too low to the ground, making it difficult to get up when finished. 4. The internet was useless, only working anywhere from 10 seconds to a few minutes at a time before needing to be reconnected. Even calling the toll-free number was useless b/c they claimed that, due to a software issue, the internet would probably not be working. This needed to be told upon checkin. 5. There were ants in the room.
