Super 8 by Wyndham Weston WV

Room smelled so bad. Hotel was booked so I could not switch rooms. There were no other available hotels in the area. We had to sleep in the room with the window open for fresh air. Smelled like a dog pooped and was left there for awhile.

This was an extremely clean motel. It was quiet and the staff was nice. The furniture in the room was also very comfortable.- just note: There are no elevators, so do not stay on the second floor if you can’t do stairs or you have a lot of luggage. Would stay again if ever in the area.

i was here for work recently and checked out early as I could due to the fact I was getting ate up and knew something was wrong I lifted up all sheets sure enough there were bed bugs hiding in the bed room was not wiped down nor vacuumed and wasn’t clean or restocked once do not recommend staying here thanks for your time

1) Lots of dust behind bed along the wall 2) No elevator 3) Minimal breakfast options 4) Out of juice 5) Dried mud on interior stairs from Friday to Sunday 6) Trash not emptied in room 7) Only 2 towels for 2 people for 2 nights

First off, our room smelled like cigarettes and the ac smelled like mold. I asked for another room but they were booked, we should've left but we'd been driving all day and needed rest. The front desk gave me a bottle to spray the carpet, curtains and ac filter. Our sheets/towels were dirty. They gave me new towels & sheets so we could remake our bed but they were queen sized and our bed was a king. Apparently they didn't have any extra king sized. We used 2 queen sheets to cover the mattress. At 1am I noticed bugs all over our end table and bed. We packed up and left immediately after telling the front desk. The young guy was very apologetic and recorded the condition of our room. He said he was going to show management in the morning and that he didn't have the power to refund our money and that I needed to speak to Lori, the manager. I left a message for the manager to call me, she never did. I finally got ahold of Lori (the manager) Monday morning and she claimed no one told her about our issues and I felt that she was lying. She never even apologized and only refunded my money after I demanded a refund and threatened to call corporate. After leaving, we stopped at 3 hotels but everything was booked so we ended up driving home to NY. Once in PA, we were too exhausted to drive so we pulled into a rest stop and slept in our car for 2 hours. This was by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in and will NEVER stay at a Wyndham hotel again.

Good for the money

We have stayed at this Super8 for probably 30 years. I couldn't believe the conditions inside. It looks like they could use a housekeeper or 2. The lady at check in was wonderful. And the gentleman the next day was great. I had asked for some fresh towels from the "housekeeper ". Well I ended up going to the desk about 4 hours later to get them. We will stay there again and give them another try. Fingers crossed.

Super nice hotel and friendly.

Hotel was not clean overall. Room was ok-tv is tiny. Never received wake up call. It was located in a strip mall which was nice to have food choices right next to it. There is a pizzeria, McDonalds, Chinese and a Mexican restaurant a couple minutes walk away. Across the highway is a Burger King.
