Sunrise Motel

It was pouring down rain and the lady made us go back outside to access our room instead of letting us go through the hallway. The doors weren’t even numbered. We eventually found out our room wasn’t even accessible from the outside and was luckily let in through the back door by another guest.

Room was adequate. The shower backed up the wall paper and paint need some remodeling. The staff needs some training as well. We were provided a room key to the wrong room that was occupied. :(

Not bad for a few days rest. Lots of food nearby.

Lots of drug addicts. The whole place smelled like cigarettes. We were in a smoke free room and the bedding smelled like cigarettes I’ve bucket was dirty. Shower curtain smelled like urine and hard towels were not clean.

The staff were wonderful, however the property could use updating.

Location easy to get around city. 5 minutes from zoo. Owner had problems with everything. No coffee, don’t take too much coffee , don’t use certain doors. Non of these things posted. Just liked to get ppl in trouble then blame the ppl for doing wrong 😑. Will Never go back

A place to sleep

Walls were nasty and carpet had huge burns along with stains. Overall it was very half a** clean and stunk like Indian food. The showers were unsealed and toilet seat pinched ya.

My over-all stay was terrible. I stayed 4 nights and every night I couldn't get into my room because the door key would reset. The motel smelled weird, like food that had been sitting in the sun all day. I was informed during check in that I wasn't allowed to cook in the room, which I understood, but the lady at the front desk assumed I cooked food in my room because I had an Air Fryer in the room (I had bought for my wife that day as a gift and it wasn't plugged in). She told me that she charged my card $300 because I broke the rule. I didn't cook food, I microwaved food...big difference. I had room service once but didn't ask for it. They completely rearranged my personal belongings and didn't leave clean towels and toilet paper. The phone rang constantly so I was forced to disconnect it since no one on the other side would talk and just hang up. At check out, I was told to take my own trash out because the room smelled like cooked food and it's not their job to take my smelly trash out. The room didn't smell, the whole hotel smells like smelly food. I sprayed the room every morning, afternoon, and night with febreeze because it smelled so funky. Never staying here again.
