Super 8 by Wyndham Abilene KS

Room was on the third floor with no elevators. Was told by staff that no other rooms were available despite only six other cars in the parking lot. Toilet had not been cleaned with feces floating in it. Phone didn't work so I had to go up and down stairs to complain. Two of the bed pillows were severely stained with long hair on them. They were replaced by staff. Television didn't work. Told there was nothing they could do about it. Finally offered different room!

Close to highway

Attendant was not at front desk. Rang the bell over and over. Had to call the number to get him down. Key card would not open west lobby door, and attendant was again missing. Bathroom light did not work. Had to leave the door open for light. Steam from shower set off smoke alarm. I could feel and hear the bed springs. Door handle to the room did not want to work. I realize this was a cheap room, but stuff has to function.

The lady at the desk was nice

Took all my bags inside went to the restroom, turned on the lights, found roaches and left immediately
