Super 8 by Wyndham Aberdeen East

The hotel is old. Rooms were worn and need to be updated. Breakfast was limited. However, the staff that I interacted with were nice and friendly and helpful.

Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable.

Lock broken on door. Bathroom light not working properly. Phone disconnected. Hallway security door left unsecured at night. Minimum food offering for breakfast. Renovations and construction should have been disclosed at booking. Price too high for condition of hotel or discounted price should have been offered.

If you’re looking for just a place to sleep and won’t be spending much time in the room, then this is your place to go. No elevator. Didn’t know that before booking and we were traveling with an ADA individual. Breakfast was pretty scarce, left and ate elsewhere. Only one staff member working the front at a high check in time. 30 minute wait in a very hot lobby. Not worth the $158 rate we had for 1 night.

We we glad they had waffle irons and batter and syrup, also fresh fruit and milk. We wished they had some eggs or meats for breakfast.

The room was disgusting. The maid should be fired. There was human or dog hair all over our bedding....very gross. The TV remote was covered in canola oil, DISTURBING. It said Jasmine cleaned the room, but that was a lie. There was no coffee maker, coffee, or tea in the room. All hotels have coffee and tea in the room, time to step it up. There was no TV guide for channels....clearly missing all the marks here. Outside entry doors are unlocked so anyone can access....good and bad. All these reasons mean I would never stay here again and tell all to avoid this place. So disgusting.
