Mountain Retreat Hotel

Staff were amazing checking us in early so we could have a cool place to rest up our puppy. Great room, great place!

Rooms are clean but oldish building

Great property

We were put in 3 different rooms in our 1 night stay. 2 of which had mould and 1 that had human hair all over in it and clearly had not been cleaned properly. The receptionist didn’t seem surprised in the slightest about the clump of black mould in our suite. However the staff was accommodating in moving us rooms. We had 2 nights booked and cancelled our second night, will not book here again. However, the independent restaurant in the hotel had lovely food and service.

The property was available for a last minute booking. Although it was not downtown, it was convenient for where I needed to be.

Room was clean and stay was great. Older hotel may need a few upgrades…

My grandchildren had so much fun on the waterslides. IOur rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Check in for some unknown reason took extra long even though we were the only ones checking in and our rooms were prepaid. I think they should streamline this process. If they had been busy it would have been a huge problem. Also when I called the front deck approximately 9pm to say our TV wasn't working I was told they said it probably needed reprogramming and unfortunately their would only be someone their ti fix this problem the next day (after we were gone)
