Spacious, modern and clean. There is a big supermarket just a few steps away and many eateries nearby.

The staff was very friendly and spoke english very well. The room was quite big and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and even got a free shuttle to the station when we left.

Though we only had a short 1-night stay at Castana before embarking on a hike in Kamikochi, our experience was so pleasant we wanted to share. We had left in the morning from Nikko to arrive at Castana in time to check in, unfortunately, our train was delayed and we ended up arriving very late. Kaneda was very accommodating & even sent a driver to wait & pick us up at the train station. The driver was also extremely friendly & immediately put us in a better mood after a long day of traveling!

Everthing was perfect! The staff is very caring and the room is comfy and super clean.

we loved it here. sadly we only had one night. but the staff are beautiful, the place is very clean, new and luxurious. the coffee delicious. they kindly drove us to Matsumoto station which made our lives very easy. thanks for looking after us! Scott

The most pleasant stay during the whole trip. The room is BIG and clean. The boss and staff are very friendly and willing to help~ Breakfast is yammy. The coffee and tea are great! The accommodation provides pick-up to Matsumoto station, which made our journey very convenient. Next time I come to this city, this accommodation will be my first choice.

They are great! Nothing to dislike

I am quite particular with cleanliness but this stay inside the cafe was extremely clean. From the cups to the plates and bathroom in the room, everything was sparkling clean and neatly prepared. There was also a microwave, an oven and a huge fridge (relatively to what most hotels would offer) inside the room. It is simple space but yet served our needs very well. The host spoke very good English and was extremely friendly and kind. The staff of the cafe too was very friendly and warm, they waited outside the cafe for our arrival and sent us off after our stay. There is also a huge supermarket just in front of the cafe, very convenient. My family drove to the place by car. There was free parking just outside the cafe.
