In the internet and also in the brochures in the room the availability of a sauna is announced. According to the hotel staff, the sauna has been closed some time ago. Why does it take so long to change the advertising material. I would expect that a Sheraton hotel shuld have accurate information material

Service is good. Breakfast is great.

Carpet in the room seem old now. Time to either replace them or a deep deep wash clean is required. Steam clean maybe.

"Sheraton Offenbach you need to do better!"

We were placed at this hotel by Lufthansa airlines due to missing our connection in Frankfurt, Germany (as were dozens of other travelers who had also missed flights). The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Our room was dated but clean. There was no coffee/tea kettle in the room so I asked for one. I got a kettle but no coffee. We were told by Lufthansa that our meal was included in our stay at the hotel. Dinner for all the stranded travelers was a small buffet with cold spaghetti, some kind of chicken concoction, cold vegetables, stale bread rolls, and canned desert of some kind. I asked for coffee but was told I’d have to pay for that. We got up and walked away. We felt like we were treated like 3rd class customers. Fortunately a Christmas market was being held nearby and we found hot food there. I plan to report this to Lufthansa as I doubt they know how their customers were treated there. We did sleep well. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
