"Fantastic Modern City Hotel"

Recently stayed here for 2 nights & then also had a day room for when we returned from our Nepal tour. It is a large very modern hotel with everything you need for a stay in a hotel. Staff are very friendly & helpful. We had 2 nights in one of the larger upper floor rooms which gave us access to a separate bar, where drinks & snacks were included for a few hours each evening. Great alround hotel. Very clean & good location. Definitely recommended.

Sehr gute Lage in Thamel mit einer Vielzahl von Geschäften für Trekking/Bergausrüstung in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Ideales Hotel vor und nach dem Trek zum EBC. Super freundlicher Staff, saubere und moderne Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr gechillt Bar Lounge mit frisch gezapften Bier. Alles top und heiße Duschen ;).

Top Lage in Thamel, umgeben von zahlreichen Shops für Trekking und Bergausrüstung. Perfekt geeignet als Ausgangspunkt oder zur Erholung nach dem Everest Base Camp Trek. Sehr freundliches Personal, moderne und saubere Zimmer sowie ein wirklich gutes Frühstück. Die entspannte Bar Lounge mit frisch gezapftem Bier ist ein großes Plus. Insgesamt alles sehr stimmig, inklusive zuverlässig heißer Duschen ;))). Those who know, know.

"Excellent hotel with great rooms and service, in a perfect location,"

This was our first time at the Aloft Kathmandu. Location-wise, this is in the Thamel area, with a multitude of shops, restaurants nearby; including an attached mall and cinema. We got upgraded to a suite thanks to our Marriott status; and what a beautiful corner suite it was. An excellent large hall and dining area, a convenient kitchenette space, a comfortable bedroom with sufficient wardrobe space, and a generous bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, with slight variations on the local food every day. Check-in and check-out was efficient and professional; and the service factor was absolutely top-notch. We enjoyed our stay at the Aloft, and if/when we return to Kathmandu, this is where we will stay again. Thanks!
