Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel

I am a guide and I went there with my clients, they sent us in lobby when we were checking in into the room and ready to go in room. I asked about my client's suitcase in the lobby and they said that they had already taken the bags to our rooms we went to the room there were no bags. We waited for 15 minutes and went down and asked security but they told me that the bags were already sent I told them I came from room and there is nothing in room but I asked again two security but they misbehaved with me and blamed me that I used vulgar word. I told them I did not use that word but they still blamed me and told me go,go,go. I had my driver with me as an evidence he knows everything what actually happened. They were very rude to me. (Uncomfortable service)!!!!!

Loved everything about Aloft: modern rooms, friendly staffs, and a perfect atmosphere. Highly recommended. I want to appreciate all staffs specially to Ms Rebecca, Saroj, Medina, Mittu, chiranjeevi, Rajani, Sadikshya etc for being so courteous, supportive, and professional throughout our stay Aloft isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience of comfort, style, and hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Aloft Kathmandu, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, modern design, and warm hospitality. A special mention to the Front Office team — Artuta, Shweta, Sharmila, Kirti, and Neelam — who were extremely courteous, professional, and always willing to assist with a smile. Their efficiency and welcoming attitude made check-in, check-out, and the overall stay seamless and pleasant. The food at the hotel was equally impressive, with a great variety and excellent taste. The restaurant service was outstanding, thanks to Kiran, Rebecca, Saroj, and Medina, who ensured attentive and friendly service at all times. A big compliment to Chef Bishnu for consistently delivering delicious, well-presented meals that catered to both local and international preferences. Overall, Aloft Kathmandu stands out for its exceptional team, great food, and comfortable ambience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu and would definitely choose to stay here again.

This hotel is a pleasant choice in the heart of Thamel. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, good breakfast. The bar serves drinks, snacks and It is an excellent option for a stay in Kathmandu.

I stayed here after completing my Everest Base Camp trek. I had a wonderful spa experience, the massage and facial was out of this world amazing. Great food options, and theres a rock climbing wall and a restaurant/coffee shop across the road that is wonderful! Also, I want to give a shout out to Medina in the restaurant. I was there for 3 days and she remembered my name and my coffee order after coming in the first day. THIS is what customer service is all about. She is an amazing person. Very personable and kind. Please let her know she made my day every morning I would see her. I would definitely stay here again.

The Aloft Kathmandu Hotel was one of the best travel experiences my husband and I have had. The staff went above and beyond- kind, courteous and very attentive to your every need. The concierge staff of Hom, and another young man and lovely young lady were superb. We had received a quote from a travel agency and we asked them their opinion. They provided the same services for half the price! And it was amazing. The drivers and tour guides they selected were experts, mastered the English language very well and were relaxed and fun. The hotel itself was spotless, aesthetically beautiful and the art all around the hotel was museum quality. The food- breakfast, lunch and dinner, all were varied, generous and delicious.
