Economy Hotel Plus Wichita

Their room key machine wasnt working so I never got a room key. I was escorted to my room. There were no towels or soap in my room. The carpet was so stained as were the walls. Thank goodness i checked in later and wasnt there that long.

Two of the most disrespectful, arrogant, belittling and stupid upper management men I've ever been associated with ..I'm a Platinum Wyndsm member, Gold Choice, Hotel.com, I can keep going ..Ive been travelling for like 3 years .all over this country ...The worst two men in charge ivr ever met and not just in hotel stays ...in life

Whoever wrote that May 2023 review was either paid to do it, or was flat out lying. To get the positives out of the way early, I'll say the bathroom was adequately (not overly) clean, the bed was fine, the AC worked well, the TV was decent, and my car wasn't broken into overnight (which was surprising). I slept decently and got out on time the next morning. But.....geeeeze.....the only word you can attach to this place otherwise is "dump". The first major red flags were at the front desk, when I saw a list of gulag-style "RULES" for the facility, and when the desk person asked me for a $25 cash deposit for a prepaid room on a credit card. Gave him the death stare and told him I didn't have any cash on me (a lie), and the subject was dropped. NO reasonably decent place asks for that. PERIOD. I was put in a room that was incredibly far away from the desk area, and needless to say luggage carts weren't available. That was a major pain in the butt. The parking lot is in God awful shape.....looks like it had been mortared. The room curtains looking at them from the outside in were in disgraceful shape, like looking at a picture of a Soviet Union building of 1950. No door handle on the rear entrance.....just a piece of nylon hooked to one of the screws. Carpeting in the hallway areas was either filthy, torn, or non existant, showing the concrete base. Trash containers that needed emptied were in several areas. The smoke alarm in my room was missing, with only wall wiring showing. The towels provided me were a joke. The bath towel was OLD and had no nap left on it at all, and was extremely small. The washcloth was equally old, and was stained. And when I say towels, only one of each was provided. ONE. This is not a property for couples or children IMHO. If you're traveling alone and need an affordable room on short notice, that's about as far as I'd stretch it, but understand clearly what you're getting. The owners apply absolutely no pride or professionalism in this facility.....it's disgraceful.

This is only time I've ever refused to stay at a hotel! It's dirty, run down, and there are prostitutes walking the halls. The front desk man was annoyed to help, gave us a dirty room that didn't lock, and then wouldn't answer the phone to Expedia when i tried to refund it.

My daughter has stayed there before. I booked her for a week, over $366 and the hotel made her leave before it was even check in time. So they literally robbed a disabled individual of over $366.

TV did not work. Had to request towels 3 times before they were brought. Everything just looked old.

There is no way this place should be in business!!!! That was my worst experience ever in my years of traveling I felt so um safe going and coming to my room and all the illegal activity that was going on I saw active drug dealers and deals prostitution drug use drug attic’s walking all around the property looking down on the ground for drugs meth addicts I didn’t know what to think or do and because they had already taken the money from my room out of my account I could not cancel it but I would have. If I would’ve had the chance I feel wholeheartedly they should give me my money back my room was disgusting. The bed was disgusting. The air was not working and everything I’m telling you in this review I told the front desk, nothing was done with it. They brought me clean sheets, the air. The handyman said he didn’t know what to tell us, and he went and brought us a fan and it was so hot. They would not even change the room!!! I am a very easy customer to please but sometimes enough is enough!! I also have pictures, so if you would like to see them admin I will send them! I will never ever stay at that establishment again!

I didn't like anything! This property is unhabitable it should be closed for business!!!! Trash all over the property. No towels in room. Doors didn't lock. Windows busted cracked glass everywhere. Bare floor from carpet construction. Dogs animals smell everywhere unsafe building!!?

Very sketch place, no one was there when we wanted to check in and place does not answer their phone. Would like to get my money back!
