Economy Hotel Plus Wichita

This place was genuinely terrifying. I felt like i was in active danger in there. I wouldnt reccommend this hotel to ANYONE.

This hotel is one of the worst places that I have ever stayed. At check in , there were several people in the lobby waiting for the front desk clerk who took 15 minutes to show up. The room that I was checked into was not fully made up. Towels and comforter were missing. This is a pet friendly hotel and there were several guest staying there with theirs dogs and it was like spending the night at a dog kennel with the sounds of dog literally yelping echoing down the halls. The entire places smelled of cigarette smoke and there were stains all over the walls, drapes and carpet. The absolute worst part was in the morning I was pulled over by the local police while leaving the hotel. After showing my DL and insurance and having my name run through their system to make sure I didn't have any warrants , the police officer explained to me that the hotel that I was seen leaving has a history of a lot of drug activity. I agreed to let them search my vehicle and afterwards they were very nice and apologized for any inconvenience. I was absolutely mortified! I will never stay there again or refer anyone that I know to that establishment.

When we got there to check in they had my husband and I go look at rooms ourselves, which is odd. Also the first room we went to we liked but they refused to let us stay in it because it was a more expensive room that what we were paying for. The next room we went to literally looked as if someone had been murdered on the beds as there we blood soaked stains everywhere. Along with cigarettes burn holes. We will never come back or refer anyone.

This property should be removed from Travelocity. I have been to many hotels and even horrible hotels. This is so far from even the worst, I have no words. I had to inspect the room first before I could check in. The ceiling was in shambles. People Dong drugs all over. Dogs barking and people yelling all night. Building was not secure. Dried blood on sheets, white towels were beyond disgusting with black and brown stains. Ac did not work. Walls super thin. Does did not seal fully and locks barely worked. Not safe, very dirty. I’ll put up with a ton, so I went against leaving and giving up my money to go to another place just because I didn’t want to leave after dark. Worst hotel to stay in, I’ve ever seen. The only plus was there were no bed bugs in the room I stayed in.

DO NOT STAY HERE! this is hands down the worse "hotel" I've stayed in. the place was absolutely disgusting, toilets barely work, different stains all over the rooms even the ceilings, sheets had cigarette burns, holes in the walls along with graffiti tags on the doors in the room, showered 4 or 5 times a day during my stay to assure i didn't get bed bugs or worse. The smell.....my god the smell for a place that doesnt allow animals the places smelled like there were tons of animals in there. All and all AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Terrible

I didn't even finish checking in! The front desk asked me to check the room to see if it was "to my liking" before confirming the room for me. It was trashed, and I'm pretty sure it was still occupied (didn't dare go in to confirm). He gave me a second room to check and followed me with 2 other possible keys. The 2nd key didn't work, so he was going to let me in. There was someone in there. There was someone in the 3rd room that he was checking while I was checking the 2nd. I lost all faith in the safety of me and my belongings, so I immediately contacted Expedia customer service to see how to transfer or book somewhere else after a refund. Oh, and a customer that seemingly stays there frequently suggested that this was the norm. As a woman traveling alone, there is no way I was staying there.

They had me running to different rooms to check if they were clean. Like are you serious?! The place is a crack house. I demand a refund for this stay that I refuse to stay.
