Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls

The suite with a falls view was great for my family, with my teen son loving the privacy afforded by the separate living room and fold out sofa bed. The property is conveniently located for waking around to restaurants and a short drive into Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The staff was very friendly as well.

Front desk staff went above and beyond as usual.

Even though they are going through renovations it’s still very nice and clean. The only thing I would suggest is to clean the shower a little bit more because there was orange mold on the grout, which is easily clean by a brush and also mold in the tub caulk. I would definitely stay again.

Super comfortable bed. The view of the river is spectacular. This location is walkable to all the stores restaurants and bars in Cuyahoga Falls. Staff is accommodating.

Our stay at the Sheraton was enjoyable. The river view was very nice. The restaurant, Beau on the River was very nice with a great hostess. The little things matter- we had soap suds and black crud that came up the drain in the shower. There was no conditioner, just an empty bottle. One of the amenities was room service menu, however, on Sunday we were told the hotel was too busy and they cant take orders. It was Fathers Day, which tells me there is not sufficient planning or employee over-sight to ensure employee staffing was sufficiently allocated. So.you either have bad management or poor leadership. Your employees are the ambassadors of the hotel name and their ability to serve the customer either reflects positively or negatively upon the Sheraton. We visited here for a family reunion. We had reserved the king suite on the river side. The bed was fine and the linens were comfortable. They did have in room service each day which was very nice as so many places have begun this “we don’t change linens unless you ask” garbage. So service was excellent. As for complete cleanliness, the rooms windows facing the rivers were disgustingly gross, full of webs, they were double pane but there were all sort of critters in there yuck, so we kept the curtain mostly closed…fortunately we did not spend much time in the room during the stay just to sleep mostly. The hallway down the first floor was constantly dirty…I think it lead to the main floor room servicing center…but that never seemed to get cleaned. The in house restaurant was lacking both in menu selections and service quality. Not enough servers to handle even a light load of customers apparently as our server disappeared and we got cold food and had to wait about 15 minutes to get our check once we were done. And the food quality was very poor. There is a nice walking path that leads to wonderful views of the river and the falls….and over to the downtown area where there are many local food establishments we did not get to visit.
