"A nice getaway ‼️"

10.0

The Irish Village is very popular and kept clean by a great number of workers. The help is friendly and accommodating. Our package deal included delicious dinners and breakfast. Anni, our waitress was great. She went above and beyond; I also requested suggestions for a night out and she suggested 4 wonderful area restaurants. We took her up on The Tugboat and it was amazing. Thankfully we had terrific weather and got to play bocce outside with others. We got to use the inside pool. Relaxation was key to our stay.

"Over priced and worn out"

6.0

Attended as part of a conference paid 189 a night. Just not worth it. Everything is worn out. The sleeping room smelled musty. People are nice. The price of drinks at bar were good. If it were $100 -125 a night it would be worth it. But when I go on vacation I want some pampering

"Musty Old Private Club"

2.0

Rooms are old and musty. My room was also bottom floor and 1/4 mile walk from the lobby. There is no accessible power outlets in the bedroom and had to charge my phone in the bathroom. Bartending staff was mostly unavailable, and one inexperienced bartender named Fotios was serving during the afternoon. He was mostly absent from behind the bar and did not know how to make drinks. Other bartenders and customers openly complained about him and said how he was bad and unskilled. Also he would not give back any change when paying tips and kept the cash without giving change. Place generally seems like a private social club for regulars versus a resort for the general public.

We stayed on the first floor room was in the 140’s. Bare minimum in the room. No phone and no alarm clock. The sliding door lock did not work- Door only locked if placed the bar on the door. Coffee maker in the bathroom. The room door and bathroom door would get stuck and only shut if you slammed them shut- I’m sure our neighbors appreciated it. Walls are paper thin could hear people talking/ walking the hallways late at night. I’ve stayed here before on the second floor other part of the hotel and was better experience.

"Average but Good Hotel for the Cape"

8.0

I'm giving my review four stars for the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. They were all very pleasant. We were attending a concert across the street at the Melody Tent so this place was a super convenient place to stay. The hotel sits about a half mile from lots of good restaurants and shops on Main Street and there is a liquor store very close by. The room has a refrigerator. The room itself had some updates and was clean. It did have a strong cleaning supply odor that never went away the whole time we were there. It wasn't bothersome but definitely noticeable. The tile in the bathroom is old. There was a very long granite countertop on the sink for all your bathroom toiletries to be placed on. The toilet flushed itself three times when you pressed the handle. At times, it was slow to flush. The shower had good pressure. The towels were old with some stains on them. The large room had a very comfortable, on the firmer side, king bed. We liked sitting on the patio in the back. Each room has a small patio. Aircon wasn't loud but definitely could hear it running all night. We could hear the people walking above us so opt for a second floor room if you can. The indoor pool looked awesome. I can definitely see kids having a great time in this large pool. We had breakfast in their restaurant. It was very good and the staff was great. All in all this isn't a five star hotel. It's a good budget hotel for the Cape and we would stay here again.

"Good"

6.0

The property was not updated but it was not terrible. There was no elevator to the second floor and the check in ladies were not particularly friendly. The pools were nice but not very kid friendly. We often felt that we were an inconvenience. No jumping, no splashing and lots of gym members using the facilities. One particular issue I had was that my room didn't have an inside lock for extra safety.

The hotel is definitely dated and the rooms need repairs/renovations, however our room was super clean and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were great but there were never any pool towels available. I would stay there again due to the convenience of location and pool access for my children
