Lovely quirky breakfast room and garden full of diversely themed artifacts and other curiosa, very original. Pleasant conversation with the owner.

We had a lovely big room, there are lots of interesting things to see on display. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing!!

Might be just me but found the shower tricky to use.

I highly recommend this hotel. Stanley and his puppy greeted us very kindly despite our late arrival. The hotel is very clean and cozy (like home), with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. You can feel the warm energy of the owner and the hotel itself. They gave us a guide to the sights and told us lots of interesting things to see and do. The interior and garden design are truly special – beautiful and cozy, with an unusual and interesting design complemented by various special elements. It's also very quiet, which is important. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the bed was wide and soft, we slept well after a long journey, the clean white sheets and towels smelled nice.The breakfast, prepared by Stanley himself, was delicious. Thank you so much! We would love to come again.

Great place to finish our Hadrian's Wall Walk. Host was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is exceptional with lots of quirky but nice features. Breakfast was very nice.

Unglaublich herzlicher und freundlicher Gastgeber. Persönlicher Empfang. Hotels/Pensionen von diesem Format findet man nur selten. Gut erreichbar mit dem Bus. Sehr ruhige Gegend, schöne Parks in der Nähe. Sehr günstig.

War nicht picobello sauber, aber bei dem Preis muss man irgendwo Abstriche machen.

Das Haus hat eine gute Lage, ruhig und mit dem Bus ist man schnell in der Altstadt. Das Zimmer ist groß und gemütlich, das Bad klein, aber sauber und ausreichend. Stan bereitet ein gutes Frühstück zu und gibt viele nützliche Auskünfte. Parkplatz ist ausreichend vor dem Haus.

Alles war prima.

Stan was very helpful , was late arriving on the first night due to work , no issues nothing was a problem Huge room very comfortable bed spotless and very clean thoughout. Wish Id found this place last year !!!!!!!!!!!!
