Good value, good breakfast. Good size room and shower. Great location, especially if you want to visit the fort. Great unusual furnishings, Roman items and a horse 🐎 😀 Handy for Newcastle centre as we could leave the car and use an Uber or the Metro. Lovely garden and planters. Stan and team friendly and helpful🥰

Bed very low and soft mattress for me, personally. Used to a high firm one. Maybe another room / bed would suit better another time? No EV charger. Not a big issue as can charge elsewhere, but just an accessible outside plug for overnight slow charge would be an asset?

Convenient location in Walls End finishing up Hadrian’s Wall trek. Host was very friendly and breakfast was great. The place had lots of character.

Owner Stan is a lovely man. He could not do enough for you. It was very comfortable and relaxing. Continental breakfast was the best I have seen. Plenty of choice.
