Sheraton Edison

I was in Edison on business and the office was across the street from the hotel, perfect location. The restaurant and bar provide a friendly welcoming atmosphere and the food is good. Breakfast in the lounge each morning (Monday to Friday) you will be greeted with a smile from Carlos who does a great job. Rooms are clean and well appointed.

It was wonderful experience at Sheraton Edison, friendly staff, neat and clean Hotel. I would love to stay back on my next visit.

Absolutely Unacceptable Experience — Do Better, Sheraton Edison I genuinely cannot believe this property carries the Marriott name. I was in town for business as part of a large room block, and this hotel completely failed to deliver on even basic hospitality standards. Being the closest property to the convention center, you’d think they’d know how to handle large groups — absolutely not. From the start, everything that could go wrong did. My early check-in request was handled by a frazzled employee who kept reminding me how “busy” he was. Upon arrival, I was informed there were four rooms under my name when I had only booked two. I was told it would be “resolved,” but of course, it wasn’t. My first night back, my key didn’t work. I went downstairs, got another key which also didn’t work. The staff then asked if I “was holding it to the door correctly” and if “someone might be in my room.” The nerve and after a long business day, the last thing anyone needs is to be insulted about basic hotel access. The room itself wasn't the cleanest the toilet had visible buildup, and one of the towels was stained. The sink ran only scalding hot water, the USB ports didn’t work, and the water pressure was laughable. Breakfast was $32 and very underwhelming absolutely nowhere near Marriott standards. The business center was out of toner and the staff seemed really unprepared for the large convention crowd. Even basic items were ridiculously overpriced, $10 for a single 2 pack, that's $5 per pill. To top it off, upon checkout, I noticed nearly $3,000 in erroneous charges for extra rooms and room service that I didn't order. I was told it was “handled” and promised a manager call on Monday no call, no apology, no accountability. This entire experience was frustrating, exhausting, and frankly embarrassing for a Marriott brand. The lack of professionalism, preparation, and basic customer care is unacceptable. I travel often for business, and from this single 72hr experience I can whole heartedly say save yourself the headache and stay anywhere else. Rooms - toilet were visibly dirty, one towel was stained, the faucet only produced scalding water, and the USB ports didn’t work. Water pressure was weak, and overall cleanliness was unacceptable for a Marriott property. Food & drinks - Breakfast was $32, which might make sense if the food had even hinted at Marriott quality Noteworthy details - Unfortunately I only leave reviews when the experience is amazing or horrible. This stay definitely deserved one. Between the billing errors, lack of cleanliness, unprepared staff, and total lack of follow-up from management, it’s clear this property needs serious retraining and oversight. I expected the professionalism and comfort that comes with the Marriott name and instead, I got frustration at every turn. If you’re traveling for business or attending an event at the convention center, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. There are too many nearby options to settle for this kind of chaos. If I could leave a half star, I would. My colleagues who traveled had similar negative experiences with billing, and price gouging at the pantry by the front desk.

Place was wonderful! I really enjoyed the members lounge where I could get breakfast and some appetizers before dinner. Carlos the concierge was amazing! Super friendly and an all around great host. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxing after getting off work. Would definitely book again!

We met Carlos at the club on floor 12. He was spectacular and highlight of our stay!! Thank you Carlos and entire staff, you were great to us!

Our stay here was wonderful! Clean rooms, friendly staff (especially Annie, Maggie and John at the restaurant and bar! We held our WHS 50th Reunion here and Matgobin Sale, Ashley in Catering and Francis in Food & Beverage were a dream team to work with!

Is ok

Quiet hotel, clean rooms and the hotel has a very large fitness center. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The Club Lounge breakfast has a great spread. Carlos who services the lounge for breakfast is always welcoming and friendly with an always willing to help approach. Thank you Sheraton for keeping your club lounge open while many other hotels are closing them. Greatly appreciate this hospitality and kudos to Carlos.
