Hotel & Beach Club Ojo de Agua

the proximity of the hotel to the beautiful beach was amazing, the only terrible thing was the state of the rooms, old cracked pipes

The queen beds are more of a double, so just be aware if you are taller people to be sure you book a king room. The place and the location are great! This year was our 9th stay at Ojo de Agua and we will keep returning.

Property is in a fantastic beachfront location, but is in desperate need of some serious updates and repairs. It is currently a bit of a construction site as they add on what look like nice units behind the older beachfront complex. It felt like it was a bit understaffed, but Stephanie at the Beach Club was EXCEPTIONAL - she should be moved into management. The food was excellent, but the onsite restaurant "Ki" was largely empty at night, despite its good food and wonderful beachfront ambience. Beachclub is fully hopping during the day, but the property is quiet and peaceful after dark. The pool is suitable and used mostly by young families who don't mind being in the middle of the construction. Overall, it has a 5 star location with a 4 star beachclub, and at best 3 star amenities. Let me be clear - this property is about the location. And thank you Stephanie and Diego!!!

We did have ocean view property but it is run down and needs repair. Beach is great, food is ok. Very close to other restaurants and walking distance to Main Street activity. I loved the town, nighttime music and dancing in streets if you like. Very convenient. People are wonderful around there . Staff was ok, could be friendlier, only if you tip, they give you attention.

It was a older room with the basics clean friendly staff but there was a smell of sewer gas in the bathroom

We love the water dispenser for every body at the front desk, Alberto was very kind and helpful, the only note for the future we would like some notice to make reservations for lounge chairs at the beach club, excellent service from Alberto.

Nice beach - basic hotel. Loud music all day from the beach club.

First impression was we made a bad decision booking a beach club. We checked in on a Sunday, arrived at 1:30. Hot and tired. It is a very small site and it was very crowded. I did not know that they sell day use bracelets. And it seemed many locals come here. We had to wait for a parking space to open up. Our room probably had the best view, however it was closest to the restaurant and very, very loud. And on a Sunday at 3:30 there were no beach chairs left. Monday however was a different story, we loved it! It was quiet and peaceful, which is what we prefer! Great view, room for price. Easy walking to town center.
