Sleep Inn Olathe - Kansas City

Everything was clean and comfortable.

The elevator was not working so we had to carry our luggage up to the 3rd floor.

HVAC unit worked very good. Did not eat breakfast here because we already had plans for breakfast elsewhere.

The size of the room. This room was less than 200 sq ft. Tiny. Barely any room to get to the other side of the bed. The door to the bathroom opened to the sink that was outside of the toilet/shower area. There is a gap between the edge of the door and the doorjamb that allows persons to see in even when the bathroom door is shut. Very old appliances. The microwave was a very early model with a rotating dial rather than digital. had to guess what 30 seconds was. Mini was the operagtive word in mini-fridge. It was tiny. extremely dated room. The elevator was out of service so this 78 year old had to use the stairs for the third-floor room along with the luggage. This was me and my wife's first time at a Sleep Inn. For a first impression it was extremely underwhelming. Will not stay at another Sleep Inn.

Decent for a fast breakfast.

The room wasn’t clean and it smelled of dog urine.carpet was damp. A dog barked down the hall most of the night. It’s a shame hotel allows animal owners to interrupt other guest night. If that is important to you we will be finding another hotel to stay near the medical center I’m going to.
