GiliZen Resort - Private Pool Villas

This is our 2nd stay here, it's our favourite place in Gili Air. Very quiet and peaceful, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff and beautiful and spacious villa and pool. We love the outside area with the coffee/tea facilities, makes it feel more homely 😊

The villa was lovely we enjoyed the room and pool area.

All roads to the villas are dirt roads, and even though the hotel is trying, walking around with dirty, dusty legs and foot wear, just destroy the zen feel a little bit.

We were 2 girls traveling and at first we were worried about the location as it seems quite remote and secluded but it was very safe. The staff were so so lovely. Sat us down, gave us a map & drew directions for the best spots for food, sunrise, sunset & other scenic sightings. They prepared a beautiful message for my bestfriends birthday with the flowers around the villas garden. We also booked our private snorkeling through them & had someone pick us up then drop us off for a very cheap price. We had food delivered almost every night via whatsapp to the local restaurants near by - kicking back and enjoying our food under the stars by the pool. Very peaceful. Great place to stay for relaxation!

the sliding doors are very loud as it has a big gap between the wall and itself. One had no stopper so we would over slide the door leaving gaps for our AC to slip out leading us with a warm room

The best place I've ever stayed in! The villa was amazing, beautiful both indoors and out. The pool was big and incredibly clean, a nice patio, and pretty flowers and plants creating a relaxing atmosphere. A spacious bedroom with beautiful furniture, comfy bed. Big, soft towels, separate ones for bathroom and pool use. You get bathrobes, too! Good AC. As much cold drinking water as you need, there is a big bottle attached to a water cooler and the staff brings a new bottle if you run out. There's a small fridge also. Totally private, even the staff uses the doorbell and waits for you to open before entering, so it felt like our own house. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bathroom floor drain was quite clogged but that's the case everywhere. Didn't bother much and the water drained eventually, even though it didn't seem like it at first.
