Exeter Rougemont Hotel by Sunday

We were out right next to the landing door, and every time someone went through it, it woke us up!

Sehr schönes altes Haus. Das Ambiente strahlt noch viel vom British Empire aus, ohne dass es staubig wirkt. Alles war bei meinem Besuch gut in Schuss, das Personal freundlich und kompetent und vor dem Hotel gab's auch einen Parkplatz.

Eigentlich nichts.

Well situated near all the shops and bars. Comfortable rooms.

Bedroom etc very clean and comfortable, good nights sleep, staff were very pleasant and helpfull.

No fridge in bedroom, only 2 teabags and and lack of parking for guests.

Staff very good and so helpful, could not have done more.

Friendly greeting on arrival, and although a little early got access to our room.

Parking - Hotel does state that they have a small car park, and first come first service, it was full, the car park opposite was also full, so had to park a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Breakfast - Buffet style, although a good selection to choose from, there were no saucers for cups, no side plates, no salt and pepper on the table.

Yet again, the lift was out of order. This is becoming a problem for me because I suffer from COPD, and sometimes I find that several extra long flights of stairs can be a problem. I have noticed that the communal carpets are becoming very worn, and I think they will soon present a severe safety problem. The window curtains are also becoming threadbare and tatty.

Very convenient to city centre
