SureStay Hotel by Best Western Florence

Decent property to stay at on a budget. That said, amenities provided at the budget rate were good. Staff was really nice. My biggest complaint were the bed bugs. I stayed 3 nights and left with itchy bites on my legs, shoulders, toes, chest, neck and forehead.

Absolutely Disappointed – Never Again I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. We stayed at SureStay by Best Western in Florence, KY, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had. From the moment we walked in, the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke—even though it’s supposed to be a smoke-free hotel. We reserved two rooms, and both were in terrible shape. One of the rooms had a door that wouldn’t even latch properly, leaving us concerned about safety. The beds had cigarette burns in the bedding, the towels were stained and limited to just two per room, and there were only two pillows provided—hardly enough for even basic comfort. The bathtub was visibly dirty, and the nightstand looked like it had been ripped off the wall and screwed back in without care—it was so crooked nothing would stay on it. To make matters worse, we heard dogs barking inside the hotel all night long. The parking lot was poorly lit—if lit at all—which only added to the uneasy atmosphere. We were in town for a funeral and just needed a clean, safe place to sleep. Instead, I was embarrassed to think my clothes might smell like that hotel when I showed up to pay my respects. It was such a dismal experience that, had I been traveling alone, I would have rather slept in my car. Unfortunately, we had too many people with us to make that an option. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Worst stay ever go in the room bed was broken air unit was unplugged tv not working go downstairs to get a new room get one and the electric outlets wasn’t working for cpap had to go back to previous room bathroom was disgusting

I canceled when i arrived at property. Never stayed. Bad advertising not clean or safe. Check in clerk canceled and need to get refunded from orbitz.com

I don't like that I noticed bugs crawling on microwave table,picture frame,and corner of bed immediately,and the toilet hadn't been cleaned,I returned to front desk immediately. After explaining and getting on phone with Expedia,that took 2 hours,then my refund was supposed to be next morning,instead of right then,per hotel and Expedia now I'm being told theirs nothing Expedia can do. Well that's unacceptable, people shouldn't get robbed,while hotel with bugs and large company for profit of my reservations, decide I'm the one stuck paying for a infested room that I didn't stay in. IS THIS STziLL AMERICA???

Beware of this hotel. I made an error when booking, and thought I was going to the other Florence Best Western. Both nights I stayed there were raised voices and yelling by hotel "residents" . . .folks staying long term. The hotel is in poor repair, the bed linens torn in places. The only reason I gave this a "one star" because the receptionist, a member of the management's family was courteous and remembered to give me my complementary water. There are many options in Florence and surrounding area. This is not an option I can recommend.

The hotel was terrible, I did not feel safe and did not stay! Was told I would get a refund, did not get refund. Was very disappointed with Expedia , the pictures were completely false. Not a safe place for two women by there self! Room was so nasty!!

The hotel was terrible. The carpets was shredding up in the room, the hallways were disgusting, the ceiling was falling down in the room, the ac unit was falling off the wall in the room. The noise and disturbances there were constant. Police were there 3 different times for 3 different disturbances . One during the day, once at midnight and once at 5am. People fighting in the building and the parking lot. I needed to stay in a hotel for a few more days due to a vehicle break down and I changed hotels bc this place was terrible !!

The motel should be closed down , there was black mold growing under the bathroom sink , there was little hot water , the sink faucet was falling off . this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in !!

Insanely uncomfortable beds, questionable cleaning.
