SureStay Hotel by Best Western Florence

as soon as you step in the door, all you smell is cigarette smoke. brakfast was mini chocolate donuts and cereal. refrigerator in the room had crusted food on the shelves.

Unfortunately, although we purchased a non-smoking room, the entire facility smelled like smoke. Also, the premises were not secure nor were the common areas air conditioned. The lock on the room door did not function properly as well.

Grounds are run down, grass unkept and completely loaded with dog poop. Door key card/access barely works, corridors filthy stained carpet. Room fair, only had to kill one cockroach, tub that barely drains, feels like taking a bath instead of a shower. The breakfast was a joke with Fruitloops and raisin bran cereal, gallon jugs of milk to pour out of, quacker oatmeal, bread for toast, chocolate hostess donettes. and walmart yogurt! Very noisey with dogs barking and kids yelling. Saw a dude hauled off in handcuffs. Would recommend looking elsewhere!

We got in after midnight, so tired, we fell into bed -- not the one bed we booked, but 2 full size with mine doing a weird, woeful creek when I sat on it (or rolled over or moved). The non-smoking room in the non-smoking hotel was *so* smoky that I had to sleep with a wet washcloth over my face. The first time I finally got to sleep, I was woken up by someone coming into our room (now after 1 am). I got a migraine through the night. When I got in the tub, I saw the, um, remnants of someone's intestinal outburst on the side of the toilet. There were people milling about the property at all hours. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is close to I75.

Dead bugs in the bed. The towels had stains on them. The outside looks like a ghetto apartment complex with trash everywhere. There’s just trashy people hanging around.

Dirty and smelly. Couldnt use tv.

Had roaches and meth heads roaming the parking lot. Nothing seemed to work well or at all and breakfast was a joke. Price of this place should be about $30 a night not $100

Lower than the low budget hotels in the area.

This motel is not worth staying at. They do not properly clean the rooms. The head house keepers husband who goes to clean the room. Doesn't change the sheets or pillow cases in the rooms. He just makes the beds. So please, if you rent a room, make sure you check your bottom sheet. I am very sure you will find trash as my husband did on the 2 rooms we were assigned to during our 2 night stay. Breakfast is not very good either.
