Williamsburg Suites

This is not an operating hotel/motel. Do not book! The police were called to assist us when we arrived because there was no room and no means to get a refund. The staff said they were closed because they are on fire watch. Their fire monitoring company dropped them, the rear of the building is condemned, per the police, and after all of that, another staff member demanded we check-in, or we cannot apply for a refund. There is definitely fraud happening, and hotels.com refused to assist us because they claim they cannot confirm what I am telling them versus what the staff told them on a call. This all happened with tropical storm Debby in the background, with 7 kids and a dog in the car. The staff locked the lobby door when we stepped outside to make a few phone calls. I've already made a claim with the BBB, hopefully this location will not dupe another.

We arrived to this hotel to check in after a long day. We were informed that this hotel did not have the accommodations as advertised on the website. The website was very misleading. Needless to say we did not stay here and will not be recommending this to anyone else. Here we were 4 hours from home rushing to find a room to accommodate 7 guests. It was a terrible experience.

We didn’t even end up staying there. We tried to call the hotel the week before several times, we emailed as well. No one ever picked up nor returned our messages. We kept getting call backs from somewhere in California. We reported fraud with our credit card company because everything seemed suspicious. Would not recommend.

Attempted to check in, site had several people wandering around that looked rough and would stare at you. Keys would not work, girl at desk reset them 3 times before changing rooms, new keys changed twice and still didn’t work. Employee on site let us in the room. My son found a dead roach in the bathroom. No trash cans in the rooms. Employee came back and offered to give a master key as long as we promised not to try any other doors because they could not get a key made. At that point we just told them we were leaving.

Staff was professional and friendly

This lodging was horrible and should not be supported by a third-party booking agency. I have photos to document the safety and health violations (alarming amounts of black mold, broken and unusable door locks, etc.). I have photos to document the conditions of the two rooms. This was so bad that I took my family to a nearby Holliday Inn and stayed there instead. I deserve a full refund - please advise the process to request this.

The door is locked and no one is answers. I am not paying for this room.

My stay was great. First thing i noticed upon arrival was the cleanliness. Clean bedding, no funky odors, hard flooring and ample hot water. The heating/AC unit works well and isnt full of mold like most 2 and 3 star motels. Yes people live here, and all seem nice. I too, am calling this home for a while. Cory has been awesome to me and my wife. There is a Hooters next door, a nice sized mini golf place across the street, and just about everything else you can imagine within walking distance or a short car ride away. Overall. 10/10 would recommend.

This place was dirty unclean uncapped door wouldn't lock. I couldn't even stay there I had to go across the street to another hotel
