Loftsome Bridge Hotel

The staff were very helpful.

Very quiet as main road bypasses hotel. Yorkshire breakfast is very tasty. Large car park.

There are no obvious directions to the car park for reception as you drive towards Hotel on arrival. Parked and had to wander around to find car park. Conifers on car park entrance need trimming back as decreases width and visibility. Though the menu said there was a continent breakfast set out, it was not on the counter. The hotel lacks ambience as I think it is only used by business people or bed and breakfast for one stay. Lots of space but filled with tables and chairs but no guest seating settees or arm chairs. Only one chair in the spacious bedroom needs another chair.

Great one night business stay. Nice comfy bed, good restaurant menu Nice friendly staff! Great breakfast cooked fresh out in the sticks so no night life. If that’s what you want

There appeared to be a shortage of staff ! The restaurant! Since it changed management after Covid the restaurant service, menu and food has deteriorated. The restaurant used to be one with high recommendation and the food of very high quality and cooking but not any more. We were very disappointed with the quality and cooking. Beef Carpaccio was not correct ..beef was cooked !! Items on the menu became unavailable and altogether a birthday meal was one to remember for the wrong reasons!

It was predicted to be a hot day on our booked date , so we asked for electric fan in our room in advance , but none when we arrived and was only given a tiny electric fan/ heater when requested which didn’t do much with the heat in the room . So we didn’t sleep very well . Breakfast , however was lovely . The staff were friendly.
