The property is a little old, and the condition is barely OK. But with this price, I couldn't require too much. Recommend to budget traveler.

The towels were not clean and the hotel in general was run down. The whole place smelled like cigarettes smoke.

My stay at Rodeway was highlighted by the welcoming and hospitable folks working. They were quick to accommodate the specifics of my travel. Everyone I spoke to impressed me as honest and trustworthy, so I felt secure and comfortable. My room was clean and tidy, with a number of amenities such as coffee, microwave, and refrigerator. The bedding and towels were fresh and spotless. Based on other reviews, I was not initially sure what to expect. But after my positive experience, I realized that some people leave reviews that are based upon their own expectations, which are sometime unrealistic. Considering the value and convenience, I was impressed with the quality of this stay, and most of all with the staff. I will consider returning here next time I visit the area.

The room was clean and had ample amenities. The hotel was just beat down and needs remodeling . The manager and staff are accomodating and friendly.

Very quiet room. But hotel needs lots of maintenance!!

The motel needs a lot of maintenance. Carpets in the common areas need cleaning. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower. Windows are boarded up. Towels had holes in them. The main hallway is uneven and a tripping hazard. There is a lot of competition within 2 miles of this location, so the owners would be well advised to step it up. This location diminishes Choice Hotels and Rodeway in my opinion.

We stayed at this property due to the low price and convenient location in accordance the our road trip route. Upon pulling into the parking lot, there were a lot of pot holes. Upon entering our room, the light switch didn’t work. I looked at the ceiling and the smoke detector was missing, and there was paper stuffed into its mount. There was also a spot where there was a crack in the ceiling and the paint was hanging down. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work. The flooring was uneven and felt like it was sinking in certain spots. The bed was really creaky and the mattress wasn’t comfortable. The A/C didn’t keep the room cool. There were black spots in the bath tub. The bathroom door had a hole from what I assume was a prior guest punching or kicking it. The door also had a spot that was patched with what looked like duct tape. The bathroom door was warped, so it wouldn’t close all the way without serious force. There was also missing paint and a crack in the bathroom wall. I have made many bookings through Expedia and have never been this disappointed in a property. I would not recommend.

A good value for what you pay, and the owners were super nice and friendly!
