Travelodge by Wyndham Cleveland Lakewood

Floors dirty, smelled like smoke, no toilet paper holder , no trash can. Tv would not turn on. Run down hotel for 600 a night. Received email day prior for early check in stating 40. When I arrived they stated that for that day and the next that policy isn’t valid. It’s now 100 and cash only. Seems property management is scamming.

Absolutley horrendous. i didnt expect 5* but this was deplorable. Dust/dirt/cobwebs everywhere, floor not vacuumed in a longggg time, no towels, dead bug on floor, toilet leaked, breakfast food/dirt covering breakfast area at 4pm in afternoon, hair from previous customers when we arrived all over batheoom. Called day before and asked fornearly checkin, they said $20. Got there to do early checkin and they said for this weekend only it was $100 cash ONLY which is super sketchy. Overall just horrible experience. Hotels.com should remove them from their website and corporate should be embarrassed to have this franchise owner.

Terrible! Dirty! Stained mattress, sheets & towels. Food left in fridge, ac didn’t work, vents were nasty. Dead roaches on floor along with trash. Toilet not attached to floor. Clothes rack hanging off wall. Coffee & cups in room with no coffee maker. Free breakfast food left out all night & coffee was like hot water. Only trash can was small bathroom one. I asked for the trash to be taken out & roaches to be cleaned up & they didn’t do it. Never go here!!

This place is run down and when I went to check in the lights didn't work in my room. This was the inly room they had and while they were quick to refund me, I was left with no place to stay after traveling more than 300 miles, from nyc to be exact. Do not stay here

The desk person was really great, did everything he could to help. He went out of his way on many levels. Made sure my motorcycle remained secured safely. *What I didn’t like was the neighborhood… and its police activity. BUT most importantly the condition of the room.. I slept fully clothed. Did not use the restroom, or take my shoes off. There was food left presumably from the previous guest. It was exceptionally dirty complete with odor.

Water wouldn’t go down in shower carpet was filthy

My stay at the Travelodge was a little below average. The staff was nice and friendly, I had decent snacks from the vending machines, and I have had decent amenities in my room including bathroom supplies, a microwave, and a mini fridge. I have had some issues with the toilet. Whenever I flushed the toilet, it started to leak a great amount of water on the floor, causing it to sometimes flood the bathroom floor. The shower also didn't have a second shower curtain, which caused a lot of water to run on the floor. The bathroom light wouldn't turn off, because it was broken. I can't say that my room was sparking clean, but it was very spacious. A recommendation would be to add some air freshener. My room kind of smelled musty. If I were to stay here again, I probably would. For a 2-star hotel, I think I paid a decent price.

Truly a hidden gem, my family and I were pleasantly surprised to find this quaint and comfortable hotel across the street from Lake Erie. A short drive to Downtown Cleveland, less than 10 minutes. The area is beautiful and feels very safe and inviting. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and night life. Our room was very clean and the mattress was amazing. The staff was super helpful and made us feel right at home. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling to the Cleveland area, especially if you need to be in Downtown Cleveland.

We were in Cleveland attending an event at Huntington Bank Field and chose this hotel because of how close it was to the event. We were not disappointed! It took us less than 10 minutes to drive down there. The area is beautiful, just across from the lake. We were able to walk to the beach and there were many shops nearby. Lakewood is absolutely beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all so friendly. Parking was super easy and we had no issues at all. Good job Travelodge Cleveland Lakewood!

The hotel room itself looked to not be cleaned. There were splatters on the wall and residue left on all surfaces. The door trim had been broken, it appears someone had successfully broken through door as there were two nails holding it together. The king bed had two top sheets, no blanket and two small pillows. The breakfast is a waffle machine that says “Do Not Use” and mini muffins purchased from the Walmart bakery. We also had issues with our room key to the point that the front desk had to let us in rather than getting us a new room.
