"Overall happy with hotel and staff. Parking lot not good"

Breakfast was good. And wasn’t over crowded. Lots of seating which was very nice. Most places don’t have sufficient seating for their breakfasts. Staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Breakfast had no fibre options. But plenty to eat. The exterior of the hotel is pretty rough looking and the parking lot is in terrible condition

Did as I always do and search for bugs upon arrival and found nothing. Left my cloths on the table as with my luggage then got comfy and climbed into bed. About an hour later I got up and went to the washroom and as I returned back to the bed I found a single bed bug on the pillow I wasn’t using. I caught it, put it in a cup and immediately went to shower to search myself for bites. Thankfully there was none. Got dressed and ripped the room apart again. Still no signs of bugs. Took the cup to the front desk to show them and all they did was changed my room to a suite. Didn’t offer a refund or anything. Told me they would look into it.

"Why was I charged so much?"

I was told the room would cost $255 and I have been charged $390. The room was hot. The A/C did not work. There was no hot water.
