Towneplace Suites by Marriott Cleveland Westlake

There are a lot of maintenance problems at the hotel. Dishwasher broken, towel bar coming loose, kitchen faucet loose and couldn’t produce hot water. But staff was pleasant and helpful, bed was comfortable, layout and size of the room was nice. Breakfast could have been better.

They really need to replace the carpet, it just gives the whole hotel a dirty look. The breakfast room is very small and it’s hard to sit comfortably with a family

Know what you’re getting if you choose to stay here; We were transferred to this hotel by the adjacent Courtyard Marriott for unacceptable reasons. That hotel allowed Please refer to my submission regarding that hotel. The Towneplace Suites where we stayed is not being properly cleaned and maintained. The drapes had numerous stains, there were dead bugs in the kitchen light fixture, the wall light fixtures are in need of repair and replacement of the lamp shades. In the morning when as we were packing to check out our daughter noticed that the power cable on one of the table light fixtures had been spliced together with electrical tape. I also found garbage under one of the beds while checking that we had not inadvertently dropped any of our things. This place is a mess and certainly not up to Marriott standards although after our experience here and with our reservation being transferred, I am not sure what Marriott’s standards are any longer.

We are in between homes and needed a place to stay between closing on my house in Hudson Ohio and my new home in Rocky River. This place is worn out. Carpet is threadbare in the rooms and hallways. Limited staff availability for check in and room cleaning. Our room had used Q-tips on the bathroom counter and the mirror had not been cleaned. Every morning they were out of breakfast and I had to ask for replenish. TV was half broken and barely hanging on the mount. It was cheap and for sure was cheap. Would not recommend.

Lady at front desk was excellent! Breakfast left a little to be desired...no bread for toast, no scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy!
