TownePlace Suites by Marriott Denver West Federal Center

Room was in good condition, and the accommodations were great since we are on a specific food diet and brought our food with us the small kitchen was very helpful and was well taken care of. Walls are a bit thin in my opinion. We could hear folks walking above when we were in the room and our neighbors next to us, we could hear every time a drawer or cabinet was closed and when they were talking occasionally. I assume because our room had adjourning doors and that may be related to this. Otherwise, it was a great place and well taken care of.

Really nice spacious clean space

This day was a pretty good value and conveniently located for where I needed to get around to. That said it’s not in a great neighborhood with a lot of road noise and riffraff surrounding the facility. The hotel itself was great.

Easy check in, friendly staff

The hotel is very run down...needs updating big time. The staff was great, the location was handy and the bathroom was newly updated. However, the majority of the hotel was extremely worn and dated

Room smelled like smoke. Not safe, and water was running when i entered and was unable to turn off.

I was told I was too slow when packing up my belongings and that I shouldn’t have taken as long as I did although they didn’t put into perspective I had been there a whole week and was in the process of moving from place to place. I even offered to pay a late checkout fee or a half day fee for the inconvenience but I was respectfully declined at that time. Upon leaving I noticed random multiple charges on my CC. I went to ask what this was all about. The front desk agent explained to me it was ‘the damage from the dog’ as I asked what damage there was from the dog because there was absolutely no way this was true she then proceeded to tell me that the room was ‘a disaster’ so that’s why she charged my card when I explained to her that there was no way the room was a disaster as I had work housekeeping before I stripped the beds and got all the trash together respectfully, yes there was dog hair all over on the carpet I did offer to vacuum that up which they declined at that time but as far as the room being a disaster that was completely false. After explaining this another agent put her two cents in and then stated that ‘the pet cleaning fee’ is what was then charged multiple times mind you, I then explained my pet is not just a pet he is a service dog in continued training and I did inform the agent upon check in so there should be no extra pet cleaning fee on my account per Colorado law. At this time after going back and forth with no solid explanation of what the charges
