It was clean.The drinks were quite tasty and included to the offer. Juices were lovely, different flavours. Housekeeping was nice and left the room always in great condition. The reception workers were nice and had a lovely chat with us. The evening shows were fine, very spectacular with the acrobatics. I loved the rodents in the forest bits and that most paths were well covered with trees. Sereques were the best! The kids loved the Vivito’s club.

The property is in a closed “more secure” area. The taxis (uber, indrive) are not allowed to come and pick up without a hassle with the reception. Friends can’t easily visit the hotel. There’s only rip off tourist shops around, no restaurants (except like Hard Rock or Starbucks) and as mentioned, it wasn’t easy to acceas Playa del Carmen without paying. Hotel was very expensive and had no kids slides or water fun for kids. Pools were very adult oriented and not extremely clean. Internet was not secure and often slow or nonexcisting. No use of safety deposit box without extra deposit. All the tours offered inside the complex were two or three times the price of Quinta Avenida. The Mexican restaurant was a pleasant experience but you need to book these in advance which was a hassle too. The normal buffet was DISGUSTING! I find it aweful that every morning we walk around the never ending buffet tables not finding anything good to eat. Thank goodness I had couple of weetabix packets with me. Papaya and lime was the best part of the breakfast. Evening buffet was just as bad, very low quality items and not very authentic Mexican flavours. Very disappointing, specially when we’d paid a lot. And they probably throw away a lot of food per day, because people were taking a lot and leaving a lot as it wasn’t delicious. Tennis rackets were given out when the court was already busy. No drying of clothes in your little balcony which was silly as everyone has wet clothes. We’d turn off AC everyday but housekeeping would turn it on running all day long in the room. Toilet got clogged very easily. Refill water was warm, no option of choosing cold water. Plus our bottle didn’t fit into the system. When leaving the hotel security told me to return with my bags to return the bracelet although I had paid for two more days.

Que no tenían teléfono directo con ustedes solo uno de Rep Dominicana y no era gratis o WhatsApp.Los casos son pequeños. Los del Catamarán nos cambiaron la hora y no nos avisaron terminé yendo sola no en pareja.

Muy respetuoso el personal,comida muy bien si bien reservé por Despegar y de allí Booking me supieron solucionar bien. Muy limpio y cuidado el lugar familiar y espacioso con muchos espacios diferentes. .

Lo único que agregaría sería que duraran más los artistas en el lugar o actividades como karaoke.

The location was perfect, in a little city/village of its own with other resorts and safe place to ride bikes and close to so many other things to do. The staff were awesome and very nice. The resort was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The restaurants available for reservation were delicious.

I wish we had known you only get a certain amount of reservations for the restaurants ahead of time. That wasn’t made clear when booking the reservation.
