Viva Maya by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive Resort

From the helpful staff to green water views of reivera Maya, from entertainment options within all inclisuve to ample options of food, despite us being on Halal diet, and were able to eat only few things but still manageable... a lot of things met our expectations. But the night performances and lots of free activities truly exceeded my expectations!

Except for a middle aged guy at the reception, forgot his name, who I found a little rude.. other than that, the staff was generally polite and very helpful. The biggest thing to spoil the experience was sea weed at the beach. You can't enter the water without going through it and it also spoiled the view. While they cleaned the beach, it all got ugly and not very vacation like. We went to Akumal especially to enjoy the beach there, but sea weed was everywhere.. I think it's a constant problem now during springs and summers.

Baños generales no muy limpios, el Gimnasio lleno de mosquitos picaban mucho y ni hacían nada para solucionarlo. El gimnasio abre a las 8am lo cual es muy tarde, el café maya hay que pedir por favor para que te sirvan y cierra a las 18 hrs siendo que la cena empieza a las 18.30 hrs, muy poca variedad para tener como alternativa a la cena.

The entertainment, night shows, restaurants, and the staff. The entertainment and show staff were excellent and friendly.

The water in the jacuzzi was cold.

Expected more from the room since we did pay a lot of money it was very basic.

Good location and view, terrifying service

Tout s’est très bien passé. Le personnel est au top, l’emplacement est idéal, les équipements et les activités de l’hôtel sont top, la nourriture est très bonne.

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the ambience is pleasant and relaxing. Unfortunately, the food was very bland and could use significant improvement. I personally did not care for it at all. The drinks were also disappointing—very generic and lacking quality or creativity. Most of the staff were attentive and kind, which I appreciated, though there were one or two individuals who came across as unfriendly. While the setting itself is lovely, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. Because of this, I would not return. Thankfully, we had another reservation during this trip at a resort we have visited before and truly enjoy, which made the rest of our vacation much better. Viva Maya is okay, but it simply fell short in the areas that matter most to us—food and drinks. While the location and ambience are strong points, they were not enough to make up for the overall disappointment.
