Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing

Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and conscientious. The breakfast is amazing.

The reason I put a 2 star on my review is due to the hotel inability to control cigarette smoke within the hotel compound. As an international 5 star chain hotel, this is totally unacceptable. From the rooms which is located on a non smoking floor, to the foyer leading to the breakfast restaurant, everything is badly polluted by cigarette smoke. Guests and staffs alike have no consideration for others even in airconditioned enclosed rooms. I understand if you can't control some guests but there is no excuse for your staffs to be smoking onsite. Shame on you Hyatt.

Highly recommended, very spacious and clean rooms. Good service, fabulous breakfast. This is my second stay with them in Chongqing. The location is good, walking distance to the main attractions (i.e. Bayi Food Street, Jiefangbei Liberation Monument, Chongqing's Insane Rooftop Plaza, Kuixing Building, Hong Ya Caves, Chongqing Arhat Temple, etc) of Chongqing city.

Great hotel with a great location. Comes with a white spread for breakfast. It is also near the famous food street. The rooms are very comfortable and some rooms have a nice view. The staff are so friendly and helpful. There are also a few modern shopping malls just next to the hotel

They had an amazing breakfast buffet. When I used the express laundry service, it was as fast as I hoped.

Good location and comfortable stay. Convenience to most attractions place . ie Hong Ya Dong, Qian Si Men Bridge, Cable cars, Eighteen steps, Raffles City , Temple .. 解放碑just so near to hotel . 八一街Full of Foods and gift shops . And best there’s Russian stuffs too 👍

The location is in the central area, but the hotel is very old. Even though I used suite award to get a suite, the room is so small and the shower water all splashed to the shower door and then splashed on me. The cleaning also wasn't satisfactory.
