We picked this hotel because of the outdoor pool and its closeness to Dutch Wonderland. I’m not one to complain about a hotel, it just really bothered me that we paid about $270 for a 2 night stay and the service didn’t feel up to par. The first full day we stayed here, we went to Dutch wonderland at about 10:30 am and came back to the room at about 3-3:30 pm. When we got back to the room it wasn’t cleaned, this part didn’t bother me because maybe someone forgot which is acceptable. We are all human. So about 3:40 ish, There was another lady cleaning the room next to us and I mentioned to her that our room still wasn’t cleaned. She told me she’d get someone over to clean it, I told her we are going to head to the pool in the hopes that us being out of the room would make cleaning it easier. We go to the pool and come back to our room a little after 5 and the room still wasn’t cleaned. I had to call the front desk and let them know we needed more towels and more soap for me, my wife and 2 kids to shower because our room was still untouched. Finally someone comes to drop off towels and soap, and we ask that lady if she can take the trash we had in our room. She leaves but never comes back. We had to leave our used towels in front of our door for them to get taken (which we left out before we left for dinner at 5, when we called and wasn’t taken until the next morning) and brought our trash to the front desk asking where we should put it. The combination of interactions between the lady at the front desk and the lady who brought towels to us, it just felt like when we asked for these things we felt like a nuisance and they didn’t seem concerned. I was very upset. We will definitely not come back when we visit Dutch Wonderland again.

One for one night Soccer stay and had absolutely the best time. Pool was big and clean. Both indoor and outdoor food was great

Lots of activities for the kids

I was approved for late check out and paid the day prior, but they cancelled my request the next morning with a 2 hour notice by text because they overbooked rooms. Very disappointing and frustrating.
