Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und großes, geräumiges Zimmer. Das zugehörige Restaurant “Calabash” ist gut.

Das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen - man ist auf sehr teure Taxis angewiesen Fast keine netten Cafes, Restaurants oder Shops in der Nähe. Die Wellen waren jeden Tag so hoch, dass die rote Fahne gehisst und Baden eigentlich nicht möglich war. Barbados ist generell sehr teuer für vergleichsweise niedrige Standards.

We stayed for two nights before a cruise. I think the hotel is pretty nice. We stayed in a junior suite and the view was nice. Walking up to the 4th floor is not fun though. The room is large and very clean. The furniture dated. The bathroom seemed more modern and the shower was fantastic! I wish there had been a coffee machine. The restaurant seems just so so. Expensive breakfast. We never ate there. I highly recommend Bliss Cafe for breakfast. A decent 29 minute walk. Wonderful cafe.

A) The place needs a coffee/tea station in room or lobby, open all day (other guests were all in agreement with us!). We had to pay to get a simple cup of coffee, plus pay for additional coffee at breakfast. Even the least luxurious places we've been to have complimentary coffee and tea service! B) Service throughout was generally courteous and helpful, with a couple of lapses. Reception seemed a little cool at first and they are the first people you see after a long trip. C) Make sure there are enough beach towels..several times throughout the day, you ran short.

Das Hotel liegt an einem sehr schönen Strandabschnitt mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Große, gut ausgestattete Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Essen im kleinen Restaurant am Strand. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

The layout of garden pools and beach was beautifully achieved. My large balcony looking out to beach and sea. Splendid sandy beach keep clean with a small streach to the right protected by a small reef if the breaking waves are too high

The food was very good but they were not geared to a simple breakfast of coffee and croisants. Watch out if you you want to keep in trim. There was nothing immediately outside the hotel. You would need a taxi or hire car to visit any local attractions

Staff , terrible , unprofessional, uninterested and ineffectual reception staff .

We requested a high floor room with a view when we booked 7 months ago and informed the hotel we were on honeymoon. As seasoned world traveler’s we appreciate fully that this can not be guaranteed but we were put in what must have been the worst room in the hotel , dark to the point that you had to have the lights on at all times , next to noisy reception area , ground floor , no view . When I went to reception the staff were unsympathetic and said it can’t be guaranteed, I explained that I had been at the hotel since 9.00am on check in day due to disembarkation from a cruise and mentioned my requests from 7 months ago at 9.00am only to be given this poor room at 4.00pm when we checked in . The staff would not even look at my emailed requests when I tried to show them , they kept me waiting for ages to find another room which was only one floor higher but I gave up as I got the impression they didn’t care . No sympathy shown and staff aloof with attitude. This attitude was repeated several times during visits to reception including when I went to reception to book a taxi for our departure and stood there for 5 minutes whilst the girl had a personal chat on the phone and ignored my presence. For the front desk staff alone we would not recommend this hotel which is a shame as it’s very pretty & lovely pool / beach area . Oh and the maid was stood outside our room 20 minutes before check out asking me when we were leaving as clearly she wanted to get in . As a side note the breakfast was poor for the cost . Tasteless scrambled eggs & poor & limited choice for £30 a head . The pool bar man was a nice guy as was the luggage guy .

Very friendly staff and a small but beautiful beach were a couple of highlights of the visit. It also has a startlingly well equipped gym! The water sports are free or very reasonably priced. We didn’t eat there apart from breakfast, which was adequate, but I’d recommend it, particularly if you want to visit Oistins fish fry as we did. The room was very spacious with a big patio area and large bathroom.
