Lighthouse Lodge & Cottages

My husband and I travel to Pacific Grove and always stay at the Lighthouse Lodge and Cottages. We're always treated with respect and kindness thanks to Lex and his team. The Breakfast Buffet is delicious I would recommend this beautiful Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay Only a few blocks to the beach My husband and I stayed at the Inn on Memorial Day Weekend

Location was perfect, walking distance to beach and lighthouse. The room was decently sized, bed was comfortable, fireplace was a huge plus. The patio door does need to be repaired as it was broken at the handle, but again minor. The place was quiet and staff were helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Cons— The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Complete divot in the middle had to go on one side or the other. Pillows were thin. They were not comfortable or supportive. Bring your own pillow. The room is dated. New shades and carpet could really help. It was clean but there was lots of cracks. Spots on the ceilings, etc. Pros—- location, it was quiet, it is a cute place. I had a junior cottage suite and the space was wonderful.

We enjoyed staying at the a lighthouse Lodge & Cottages. I had a cottage which had a comfortable bed and I enjoyed all the amenities especially the quiet. My sons had a room at the Lodge and they woke up to deers grazing across the way every morning. They were comfortable in their room also. The rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the scenery surrounded by trees and nature. The buffet breakfast included with the cottage was a great way to start the day and I loved their breakfast burritos. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Your walking distance to a overlook of the ocean with a beautiful sunset. For the value it was worth the stay and we look forward to staying there next year.

Large room with view of cemetery, deer, and ocean beyond. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice pool and spa. Quiet. Location was convenient to downtown PG and Monterey. Easy access to Hwy 1, Carmel and beyond. Ample parking.

We have been staying at this location for 35 years and have never been disappointed.

The location, dog friendly.

Some of the staff were not friendly and were denied to have room cleaned due to staffing issues.

Propis poorly maintained, pool and spa neglected and green slime, breakfast for cottages was terrible: microwaved potatoes and grainy sausage. NOT a value.
