Maryborough Hotel & Spa

Our stay at Maryborough was just what we were looking for. The hotel was fantastic and the staff was even better! The spa was grand!

Highly recommend the hot stone massage with Lucy. It was fabulous. Lucy is excellent.

Beds were comfortable in generous rooms. Breakfast a highlight. Staff friendly and attentive.

Room bathroom had no handrail or toilet roll holder installed.

We spent a week-end in the Maryborough Hotel and had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay .The hotel lends itself for family gatherings. The setting of the hotel is within a beautiful garden with magnificent trees. Our rooms were very quiet and comfortable with garden view . The beds and pillows were perfect . All staff from reception, Restaurant , Bar and housekeeping were very friendly and added to the experience. Kim gave my daughter and me a most relaxing Indian head and back massage. Afterwards we retired to the relaxation suite, which was the best I have been in. Ciaran the bar and dining room manager is a total professional. His calm manner and discreet way of guiding the restaurant and bar staff creates a very pleasant ambience. What is most notable is the way he leads by example and supports the staff in whatever way he can. As a consequence it is clear that the staff are happy at work and though very busy , there is not a sense that they are working in a stressed environment . Both the bar and restaurant food was delicious with plenty of choice. All the facilities gym, leisure centre, spa are all very well appointed , clean and once again the atmosphere is one of calm.
